Several options for me:
a) complain about a Novice Rifleman ability being able to completely negate a Master box ability
b) Stasis / Force Run anyway
c) Cloak
Maybe I misread the post from TH, but it sounded like the Snare/Root debuffs didn't negate as much as they interupt/preempt. If a Jedi was FR3 and we snare them, the FR3 would be interupted by the snare for the duration of the snare, and the then the FR3 state would return. Like I said, I may have misread it, but that doesnt sound too terible. We root someone at FR3 and they stand still running in place - like a cartoon - and then suddenly vroom.
How is this working on TC? Is it actually canceling out the FR or interupting? Does the Jedi have to reapply the FR or does it kick back in automatically?
This sounds like it may be a great idea. But you have to give up a lot for this tree, I wonder how it will work. Or what the complete template would look like.

stasis is a viable alternative, but at the cost of having to be master enhancer.
I predict the next Jedi FOTM to be heal xx4x. With action costs on heals at 25-35% right now, many people are overlooking the fact that a 'stun' with 'improved sap' will kill action regen. In fact, with the new buff system (debuffs overwriting buffs and THEN applying the effect - hence FR3 reduced to walking pace) we might well see the same with skills such as Sap overwriting blob candy and THEN applying the original debuff....

What exactly do you mean by this? Are you referring to my earlier post about speed tapes and food? It dosent take mega millions to get some healing eff tapes and food. All it really takes is some patience looking through all the SEAs listed on the bizzar.

They will hit you with stasis, and THEN run.... stasis lasts longer than snare, so they will still get away. Jedi need SOME mechanism to get away, I'm guessing that will be it. Until the community complains enough to get stasis taken away. Then it will be KD and root, which when applied properly, sticks you to the ground for the duration of the root. That is, until the community complains enough about that one, then..... I'm not sure. I guess the same thing any non-jedi will do: KD, and burstrun.

we wil prolly use stasis then..
and for those complaining about heal nerf u will be able to kite us a lot easier with snare nerf so u wont need to heal

because smuggler is not a risk vs reward prestiage system. they will always have a incentive to fight with no risk. so there will always be smugglers. also Smuggler would be an optional choice, meaning that they will have an optionif they are hunted unlike jedi who know they will be.
Yeah but smugglers are sneaky little suckers. They also have a root, feign death, last ditch. Those suckers are deadly when they want to be.
Not to mention when the smuggler revamp comes out...they will be the only people that you could get your spice from. Never tick off your dealer..he might cut you off.
