A note about slicing: if you buy high quality armour, you don't need to get it sliced, this will increase the encumerbance to a level which you can't mitigate. Check your template for the encumberance your template can mitigate, the best quality armour will already be sold at those caps. If you slice it further, you will get accuracy/speed/movement penalties.
is this still true?
- Don't grief / corpse camp, if they are still in the combat field, obviously don't let them rez, but if all the attackers have been killed, then letting them rez will save time for the next fight.
- Don't load gank, well this is pretty hard not to do, but at least give the person loading 5-10 seconds to turn on his macros before you gank him.
- Don't take down unmanned turrets, this is just silly to do so, I actually think having strong non CU balanced turrets is good, because when there is big PVP attack, it gives the defenders a chance to regroup, if they are caught off guard.
- Don't use pwnage 1337 speak, ok you are a Master Defender, and Master Power can't hurt you, be curtious and polite, he may be a veteran PVP'r, how long have you been PVP'ing? A few weeks? Maybe you are a Rifleman and kill a Jedi using snipershot, he is obviously new, give him a chance...
- Don't use force drain unless used upon.This is never going to happen, so use it freely, but don't brag afterwards if you killed him while using it. 5v1, you don't need to use force drain do you??? The 5 of you will be able to kill him, it may take a little longer, but thats ok.
- Do have fun and get involved, PVP is great, always has been and always will be!!!
few things highlighted
Rule 4: BS don't give him a chance, this is PVP you don't go up to a new jedi and say "are you new ok ill give you 5 min to try and beat me" they wont give you a chance don't give them one.
Rule 2: once again BS, there are many ways of getting around this. should a person be stupid enogth to load into a concentrated place full of Enermys then he gets what he deserves. this is as good as saying. if your enermys unbuffed with no foods etc give him 5 min to get back up.
Rule 3. once again you are fighting in PVP the turrents unmanned or not gives them a tactical advantage and you as a Pvper will have to overcome this disadvantage meaning that you will have to take those turrents down weather there is someone in there or not. All is fair in love and war (apart from exploits!)
Rule 5: and what of those templates that need to use drain such as Mpowers/Menhancer templates (seeing its dealing in jedi might as well give examples) in which their template will drain force fast and may or maynot be able to channel fast enogth this is a way of getting extra force. once agian this is like saying to a Pre curb CM dont use your dots in PVP.
apart from those 4 things i have no problem with this no you shouldnt Greif / and yes you should have fun this is still a game remember, oh and the whole Leet idea is because you look like a childwhile saying it no one will understand you.
