true they do not have rights to the spot.... However if you attack what they are attacking knowing you will do more damage (as the original poster stated) then you are kill stealing and it is considered a grief.
ask a CSR if kill stealing is allowed.
ask a csr if they own the trail ... .and we didnt shoot at anything they were engaged with. we picked targets that were not being atttack and we attacked them and these Jedi blew a fuse because we were there grinding

I am guessing you are not reading what i said.If you attack what they attackit is kill stealing.Of course they dont own the trail but why not pick another instance?it is obvious that you were there to keep them from being able to grind just by reading what your first post said.So therefore you are griefing them by taking kills. You are trying to hide behind innocence when your originaly post shows otherwise.
Agreed. Don't kill steal. It's bad for everyone.

/agree...don't kill steal. It's much more fun to bring a few BH w/ thier missions and see if they scatter like roaches
Listen its not about Kill stealing its about the Jedi there who demanded that we leave because they were there first. I have no problem with leaving an instance if asked politely but I will be damed if I will be forced out by a group of self righteous Jedi who think that every mob that spawns inside the feral wookie village is there for them to grind on.
It did not matter to them if the creatures we attacked were attacked by us or them first, it was our presence on that trail that disturbed them and the fact that every wook we killed was one they didnt gain xp on.
Now if you think that what we did was steal killing, well so be it; then maybe you should go down to one of the trails ..... attack a wookie and see what sort of reaction you get from these Jedi. It wont be that you killed a wook , it will be that you are there and that you should leave or they will report you for harrassment if you do not leave.
It gets me sick that everyone bchs about how the Jedi grind down there - how they make so much xp, how there are too many jedi in the game and how all of these grinding jedi will be full temped knight in a very short time.
Well do something about it and let them know that they do not own the ryatt trail , that they can not claim the webweavers paths as their own personal grinding zonesand if you happen to disagree with me well then all I can say is pucker up and give homage to your Jedi masters.
Wow..that is so sad.
They should change the name of the planet form Kashyyk, to Jedi World. Put a big sign at the Starport saying "Jedi Grinding Area Only".
Kashyyk, aka Jedi World was the wors addition to SWG ever.

Oh man you just cant win with these Jedi. You just CANT win !!
You know what ? Show those camping Jedi what greifing REALLY IS ! Get one or 2 Smugglers to aggro a HUGE aggresive high level mob on them and have them burst run into the Jedi and then feign death. See how fast those leet guys with the glowsticks and robes die.
Wow.....that's just sad. And you wonder why BH and Jedi stereotypes exist. Now run off and get another thread deleted.......
People should read the harrassment guides some more, because this falls into the biggest joke SOE has going.
Camping and kill stealing will not be punished. They say so themselves in the little thing you're supposed to read prior to filing the ticket, andthey even go so far as to say players should play nicely so as not to ruin the game experience of other players.
If you're purposely going in there to steal their kills, it isn't exactly right. If you just go down there to grind, just like them, and they happen to be there, then I don't see anything wrong with it.
Don't pursue these people... heck, you're a BH, get a freakin bounty on em and clear em out next time.
First off, to Bono.
Sorry you had that experience, however, your stated goal was to be a jerk, so perhaps you deserved some of the flack you got. If people come across my groups when we grind the trail, I ask if they are on the trail mission, if yes, I tell my group to back off and let them get thir 25 wooks. If not, I invite them if we have space or politely ask them to move on.
Now from what ti seems in your story, if you had come across our group you would have not been on the mission, refused to join and tried to kick everyone outof the spawn. Completely legal....but a jerk move. Now, if the grind group you edged out left the instance and you followed them and pulled it all over again, I think you'd have a legitimate harrassment ticket filed against you.
As for the one who suggested training something in and pullign a FD
Training is explicitly illegal, and bannable. However, no such creature exists on that level of the Rryatt Trail. Closest you can get is the Trandoshans, and they won't leave their camp.

may wish to re read the OP
"If you go down into the webweaver trail (any instance) with a group of 4 people and grind in the wookie village just like the jedi. Thats what happened tonight to me and a few friends. We went to grind and those Jedi had a fit. They couldnt out damage us and started sending hate tells and spitting and crusing at us. "
