Thread: Jedi please read and give input

These are just a few. But what I am trying to derive from this post is when, how, where and what a BH can do/use to hunt you ( Jedi ) and what we should do prior to attacking. IE.. a good response would be:
Give the jedi a tell 5 minutes before you attack so he can get foods and buffed up if needed or run to a house... another example would be. Give the jedi a tell and if the jedi requests you not to use stims or your certified weapon the BH complies.. or if the Jedi is not ready and is grinding then the Jedi can ask the BH to simply drop the mission.
Lets get some good approved times, tactics and rules set up so we can stop the hate between the two professions. All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I know you mean this thread as a joke, but I'll answer seriously.
Well, having been on the other side of the Light Lightning Cannon, I know what BHs go through. That said, I do hold most BHs to a certain standard of decency. Or at least I will.... whenever I do get hunted. I haven't yet been on the terms...
I don't care if you attack me while I'm grinding, AFK, dueling, whatever... my own damn fault for being on the terms. However:
-I will be somewhat miffed if a same-faction BH attacks me. Now that the BH terminals tell faction, that bugs me. That said, miffed is as far as I'll take it, and though it will be under my skin, I will usually let it go.
I will, however, be outright angry if:
-I am killed while loading/LD. That's just dirty pool...
-The BH rub it in if they win or send hate tells if they lost. If I cloak and run, either follow me or give up. Don't send me /tells saying "Come out and fight, n00b!" If you win, don't start dancing with my corpse and start shouting about how you 'PWNED' me. Win or lose, fight with grace.
-The BH make themselves a pain to other Jedi in the area. I had this happen the other day. I was grinding in a spin group and a BH comes for one of my groupmates. No problem, I see him coming before I start attacking, so left the saber alone and, as a result, got no vis from the encounter. Fine, fine, BH is an occupational hazard. Well, the Jedi being hunted immediately roots the BH, runs off and cloaks. The BH then starts shouting "Come on out and fight, P***y." Already, my opinion is being lowered.... Then he just stands there and says "Fine, either you guys get your friend to come out and fight me (he was long gone at this point, by the way), or I'll just stand here and give you all vis." One harrassment ticket later, we were back to grinding, but come on, show a little maturity.

There are several ways for Jedi to lose Jedi Experience in their lifetime.
Bounty Hunter Mission Completion:
Should the Jedi be unwary and allow themselves to become known amongst the population in these turbulent times, bounty hunters will be contracted by the various parties opposed to the Jedi's return. Their mission is to hunt the remaining Jedi of the galaxy down. Should one of these mercenaries for hire succeed in a mission, the Jedi character will automatically lose a calculated amount of Jedi Experience when the deathblow lands.
Load kill ..
Exept for that you have all the rights to use whatever (legal) means or situationsto kill us

Well now,
I'm not sure if your post was sarcastic, cynical or if it was genuinely seeking some constructive input, or at the very least, having a Jedi validate the "underhanded" tactics a BH may use. But, for the sake of this thread, I will assume that you aren't simply being an a$$ and it is a valid query and respond accordingly.
First off, there are no "rules of engagement" in the BH/Jedi dynamic. As an undefeated BH pre-CU, Pre-Pub 9 etc, I always sought the most opportune time for ME to strike and the LEAST opportune time for the Jedi to defend. I've killed Jedi at bazaars, ID salons, cantinas, in the middle of PvP battles, etc. In my hunts I always endeared the phrase, "If it's a fair fight, then I failed in my planning and preparation."
Now, many lifetimes later, as a Jedi, I fully understand the role and responsibility of being hunted. I would use no excuse if killed. Rather the contrary. If a BH strikes me down when I am at my weakest, regardless of the circumstances (a load kill or an LD not withstanding) then I respect them for having both the patience and presence of mind to strike when it is best for them, and worst for me. Any Jedi who complains, cries or whines to the contrary, quite simply, shouldn't be Jedi... period.
Being Jedi is about two key game dynamics. PvP and being hunted. If any player does not desire either, then they should just give up their glow stick and do something else. There are many places for "carebears" to play. Alas, Jedi is not and should not be one of them.
So to you fine (and not so fine) BHs out there, I say this. Endure the hate tells, endure the BS and continue your hunts. The only Jedi who cry are the very same ones who are ruining our profession to begin with and they deserve to be hunted with extreme prejudice. ;-)

I marked those 2 in red because those are the only ligitamint excuses i can see, and the one about going LD could be 50/50..Other than that.... HUNT AWAY!!
