I sent my seeker out, it returned the name...but when I got within range of the jedi, it wouldn't let me attack him. I figured maybe I was bugged, so logged out and back on real quick. My mark was still there so I tried again...still no luck. Then I tried loggin out completely and back. With luck my mark was still there, but now was actually standing closer to me asking me if I was after him. I said yes just to be a goof about it, then tried to open fire once more. Still same problem.... can't attack. I did a sanity check on the name to make sure it wasn't just a spelling issue where the guy was so close to another that I didn't notice. Nope, same name the seeker gave me. So I tried one last time...no luck once again. Irritated as all HE-- at this point. He then offered to duel me just to make it fair, but I declined since I was more curious to see what is going on. Anyone else have this happen?
I dropped the mission, got a second and it worked out just fine.... Full Temp which proceded to hand me my tail on a silver platter. Tried a 3rd one, same thing happened as in #1, couldn't attack nomatter what I tried. Even ran around in circles, relocated to different area's etc. etc. Heck, even had the jedi help me out by trying different area's (I thank them kindly for there efforts) but still no luck.

1. Our bounty hunter droids do not work on the planet Kashyykk. There is a widely used exploit involving the line of sight code on the Rryatt trail instances that makes it impossible to complete player bounty missions. This wastes time and droids since the majority of Jedi players use the planet Kashyykk to level there characters.
2. There is also a bug that we are unable to determine the name of our player bounty targets who are on Kashyykk.

It was clearly stated in another thread, by a Dev, that the happenings on Kashyyyk are purely intentional and will not be changed untill the Producers say otherwise, not the devs.

Yeah I know, that still doesn't answer my question. What kind of bounty hunter takes missions without information up front. Fuggin joke.
the really patient kind
If that is what Blixtev was refering to then by all means remove Kashyykk missions. There is no point we should be forced to deal with exploiting Jedi and the developers and game producers that support them.

the really SCARY kind...
in short THIS kind of bounty hunter...
I agree. The ones who stick around now are going to be the ones to concern yourself about. Thes are the ones who will know their proffession instead of here crying about it and they are also the ones I know who can take fully templated Jedi without much trouble. It will take a couple of weeks to weed out the Non-Hackers who wanted to grief low level padawans, but the majority will end up being the ones to concern yourself with.
Grinding on Kash is not an exploit sorry. I think they should remove the xp gained from there but it is not an exploit.

I don't think he means that grinding there is an exploit but that there are jedi that grind there that use the known exploits when they are being attacked by a BH. Turning off the XP would be about the only viable solution that I can see.

The majority of Jedi that grind there use an exploit to avoid boutnty hunters though. I don't care if they are power gamers and want to grind XP on astatic spawn of NPC wookiees while AFK or ATK.
I only care when it effects my gameplay by having to be involved with players that use widely known exploits.
IMO BH's should start a thread on how to beat certain Jedi with their templates and make it a constructive thread with no whineing. That will be tough I know. I would even help with that as I have been a MBH since before Mounts and have hunted Jedi myself and I am also a Pre-Patch 10 Jedi as well.

Ok im prob gonna get flamed but this is how i see it...
I just took 3 missions names worked great love the way u can see faction.
All 3 missions were jedi knights and i just cant solo a knight they are just to strong for me as they are meant to be.
And i know some people will say that you can solo a jedi knight i cant so im not really intrested to hear that there is alot of people better than me.(Thats why I posted the BH's after this patch will be the Dangerous ones. They are the ones who know their proffesion and took the time to learn.)
This is just forcing us people who liked to hunt 160k/190k jedis to respec out.(See above post)
I have spoken to a dozen people who have the same feelings as I we just cant solo a knight, some people will say that if you bide your time and catch a knight when he hunting. As far as i have seen knights dont hunt they dont need to.
I really didnt see the point in taking away the info u had before..Yes people did attack very low jedi's but they was aware when they went down this path what they was getting themself in for..(Yes but so did you as a Bh. BH hunting is not supposed to be easy and hunting NOOBS all day is.)
I really dont wanna change prof as icant think of anything else i would like to do but i cant keep droping missions to try and find somone i may or may not be able to win.(Learn how to beat them. Yes you my fail but learn from each experience and make yourself better.)

Sounds like someone is mad cause they can't pick on noobs anymore.
1. A Jedi by definition cannot be a"noob" because they have to play the game a minimum amount ofmonths to even become one so if in that period of time they cannot learn how to defend themselves then they are morons who will probably never figure it out.
2. A low level padawan is every bit as dangerous as a fully templated Jedi because they still have their non-Jedi skills intact.
3. What is so hard about leveling a Jedi nowadays anyway? All you do is go AFK on Kashyyk for a few days to become a full template.
4. Cry more.
