Yeah, there are some very good fwg5s on Ahazi doing up to 360 max dmg, but my favorite pistol for PvP atm is my DX2, its 2.5 speed and 135-226 damage, its very sweet.

I'm on Bria and got a DX2 a couple weeks ago from Police. It was 99-156, 2.6 speed. Sliced it's 117-204, 2.6. With my power ups, it goes to either 1) 156-264, 2.6; or 2) 117-204, 1.8. Plus, it didn't cost anywhere near 120k.

Those numbers don't jive at all.

If you start with a 99-156 pistol at 2.6 speed, a 17% slice would land it 117-182. My DX2 which started its life at 100-157, 2.5 was sliced 23% on damage to 123-189. Slice percentages affect both the low end and the high end. I am a master smuggler. Maybe the original stats was something else?

Yes, they were a bit different. I don't have my equipment listing right in front of me so I don't have the exact stats. However, they are close enough to make the point to the previous poster that there were better weapons in our server than a DH-17. He had said that no weapon smiths were making anything better than his DH-17, so I gave him the stats of my weapons as best as I could remember.

Hands down the best pistol I have is my DX2. With a minimum 123 damage, every shot is going to count. My FWG5 has a much higher maximum damage but the fact that it has a 40 or so lower end damage means some of the times, shots just suck.

Now, if you start with something like a 117 minimum damage pistol, good god, throw on a minimum damage power up. It becomes a 150ish minimum weapon. That's the sort of thing you want to bleed with. 150 minimum. That's going to put a hurting on someone.

Wow, on Radiant we have no decent DX2's and the FWG's I have seen max out at around 190-200 from what I have seen. And finding a slicers is always a chore. Hopefully our resources are fixed and we will get shifts on schedule and get some better stuff.

BTW - Havoc, thanks for making fun of pistoleers and basically proving our point for us. We are pistoleers, and can't even use the launcher. If I ever see a gun that approaches Max 300 that doest have a min of like 100 or less I will be happy I suppose.

Im on ahazi and bought a DX2 that was 2.6/99-153(speed was 2.0 sliced)

The same weaponsmith also sells FWG5s that are presliced 2.0/50-196

I do find however that I hit usually just as hard with the DX2 thanks to its acid base.

Yeah, I love putting the +32% max/+15% min power-ups I got on my DX2 and FWG5. I get to see some really big hits. Especially with Lairshot, errr.. Disarmingshot1 I had a 1300+ hit followed immediately by an 1100+ hit on a mission lair last night with the powered-up DX2. The lair didn't last very long The higher minimum damage on the DX2 as compared to the FWG5 really seems to compensate for the slower speed, particularly once the power-ups are factored in. I'm running low on those power-ups now, and need to find another supplier.

I use those powerups too tal. I by 5 crates at a time for 9k on radiant. I would actually prefer 32% on minimum and 16% max powerups, but I can't find those yet. I think they would be a bit more consistant. So far my favorite weapons are still dh17's.

fYI... the Launcher Pistol is not ausable weapon by the Pistoleer. The Launcher pistol is a Commando weapon.

how are the weaponsmiths on the other servers making these INCREDIBLE DX2's!!!the best DX2 so far i found on Tatooine on Bloodfin is a 103-161 2.6 spd DX2 and it was sliced!!!

Ya this is Pistoleer so we are basically, tell me if I am wrong, talking about Pistoleer weapons not Commando. Also it takes more then 5-6 points to train Commando.

Is there any good weaponsmiths on Eclispe would like to buy some of those good pistols mine is almost to damage to use.

I mean about the 5-6 it takes other skills then pistol under marksman to train.
