Sorry mate wasn't me it was my GF playing my old char. She was trying to get a second jedi with my old BH, that is until SOE dropped the bomb! She seems to get some perverse pleasure out of prtending to be a bloke, don't ask!

She knows all about it from me, I'm always laughing at her everytime SOE drops an SWG bomb (CU, XP change, Son of the CU ect....). I left long before the first CU and EVE hasn't had any bombs dropped on it since I've been playing.

I'm looking at it, but the lack of ground content is distressing.

Actually sounds great. I understand that it's not twitchbased but is the atmosphere that of Elite and Privateer(If anyone remembers those old games)?

"There was lots of reading, much too much, in the game. There was a lot of wandering around learning about different abilities. We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."

want mass Warfare? play WWIIOL... google it.

Oh and being a "real bounty hunter" i sa tough miserable yet rewarding job...Sheesh some of you live in lala land

NO ONE can tell me their profession was harder to get than my jedi. Oh and for the morons reading that dont belive me... try getting 500-900 jedi Xp while your NON JEDI groupmates are getting 6100+ XP. Oh and you need 200k for the first box 400k, 800k 1.6mil. You need to do this for 4 trees to get the opportunity to try for 3.2million to make master. All the while fighting off + 500k NEGATIVE Xp BHs gave. Oh and you need 2 masters to make cl80. The same CL80 you got in 1 week

It is decieving at first since there's little content by SWG standards (Quests and dungeons). Most of the content is left for the players to create, as you have a WORKING economy where anyone can play the market. Also there is a WORKING system where players can create thier own missions for other players to take.

There is also a continual story arc, similar to what SWG had when I first started playing. Players are frequently involved in these story arcs which are published on the forums/website. Also there are regular player events which are dependant on the players and the players quite often can change the story. For instance in one player event a corp was to employed to rescue 2 scientists and retrive thier work. Instead they got what they were supposed to and killed the scientists whilst keeping the work and so changed the story arc.

The game is based on Elite according to the company that owns/runs EVE. space based but not twitch more a select your target from an overview then activate your weapons and tell the computer how to navigate (although it can be done manually if you wish). Alot of ships, from shuttles to the new dreadnought class, some unconventional classes such as stealth bomber, interceptor and assault frigate just to name a few. Also ships for mining and hauling goods, also you can buy/build/loot modules to fit on your ship and have endless amounts of different setups for each ship.

There are many different agents working for different corporations that give all types of missions from drug running to acquiring medicine to killing people. So the content is there just not many dungeons (known as complexes in EVE), these are few and far between. But with over 5,000 solar systems and 17,000 people online at once there isn't much need for such things as PVP tends to create it's own content with player pirates preying upon player miners and traders/haulers. Whilst bounty hunters prey upon the pirates and criminals and smugglers try to keep thier heads down running contraband in cloaked ships.
