I'm a Master Pistoleer and I just picked up BH the other day, and I got to say, I'm loving Fan Shot with my new Scatter.

I went pistols, lower ham costs, more damage types... I also just like pistols for some reason. The DE-10 cert at master pistoleer is being over looked a bit I believe... but considering the damage you can get out of this weapon, with the right resources/tissues... vs. a non-armored target (Jedi).. means the few of those shots that DO hit, are really going to sting.
If you go MPistoleer/MBH, or MCarbineer/MBH, you'll have enough points left (18) to dabble in the other end up one tree to the third tier.
The Pistoleer has better melee defense mods, where the Carbineer has better ranged defense mods. You should hit the speed cap with either weapon you decide to master.
I've picked up Master pistoleer, and snagged novice brawler for the time being... I like intimidate... works very well in PvE, not sure about how it will do against a jedi's saber blocking abilities... but it will cut down on the damage that saber is dishing out.

Hey Guys and Gals,
Im a master commando and i have no idea what i should pick up for the CU, it looks like Pitoleer and Carbineer are popular choices, can any one tell me what would be best to have?
Oh yeah, and are we actualy getting the Underslung Carbine for the CU??

Ok, bad news first:
No, we didn't get the underslung carbine yet. The davs have stated that the animations required to put it in-game would be too much to work with as of yet, but the individual revamps after the GCW and CU revamps are done with should yield us this.......yes.....uber.....weapon. AND YES, I SAID UBER, D@MNIT !!
Anyhoo, the decision is really up to your playstyle. Pistoleers will get some nice attacks to control crowds, such as intimidate shot, while carbineers will stick with their tried-and-true method of position attacks. I myself am going to get MComm/MCarb/BH Carbs to ge able to use my grenades before running in, then keep em on the ground
. Plus, I'm banking on the fact that we'll get that nifty.......uber.....underslung carbine soon, lmao.
:EDIT: Crap, I can't speel....and that was on prupose, lol......

I am after Pistoleer with BH Pistols. This grants me both Recon (energy) and Assualt (kinetic) armor. And I look forward to /eyeshot, /fanshot, /stoppingshot etc... with my Rocket Launcher!!

Im currently MBH/MR/0020 Pistoleer with some points left to grind more into Pistoleer, but am wondering wether Pistoleer is the way to go or wether Carbineer may be better for damage output. I also like stopping shot for the obvious reasons, does Carbineer have a substitute for stopping shot?
Any advice would be welcomed.
Thanks

well, there is the E11 Mark 2, or the Elite Carbine. the e11 requires master carbineer, but the elite carbine only requires CL 54 or something like that.

If your MBH , the proton carbine is more powerful than all the other carbines, shortly followed by the E11, then the elite.

What is the damage like compared to an advanced scatter pistol? better or worse? and does it require Master Carbineer to use it?
