Hello, I am training up to be a BH. I am carbineer 3333 and BH 1232. I notice that carbineer can use Battle Armour and BH use Reconnaissance armour ( I think from memory). What will be the best armour to go for for a bounty hunter or does it make a difference? Also are there different qualities of armour and if so how do I know I am buying a good set?

bh uses assault and carbineer uses battle. since jedi do energy damage and battle is about 6000E/6000K while assault is 5000E/7000K battle is better. also layering it helps.

you'll want 6000/6000 if you're just starting out. if you ask for layered battle armour from an AS hes going to charge like 4 times as much....lot more resources and factory times. will take like 1000 from kinetic and add it to energy

All depends on your template. If you can wear recon then go for that 8.2k Energy resist armor. If you can only wear Battle then get a set of 7200 Energy Resist armor. Whatever you do don't forget to slice it for Armor Break Reduction. Also, try to get it health enhanced as well.
