I cant believe that you think that would work? Any smart jedi would just unequip their saber as soon as you did that and BINGO no vis still

it's people like marc-anthony that cause all the probs between BH and Jedi. I think that if somebody is grouping just to disband they will get banned for exploiting and griefing. I wouldn't recomend it. Otherwise SOE will have to come up with a 5 minute anti-viz TEF for anyone grouped with a jedi when they disband. This is why all the nerfs keep rolling in.

Yes, they have the option to go hunt somewhere else, however without the ability to scout out jedi on the trail, find their mission and come back.... they will be less prone to seeing the same BH over and over coming back for a free meal.

I would hazard a guess to say....most Jedi you'll find on Kash are going to be easy pickens. You'll find the odd Jedi or two doing a quest, but for the most part, a Jedi on Wookieland is going to be an AFK Jedi.

You would be suprised that the whole AFK jedi is a bit exagerated. Yeah. I know certain peeps that are on afk there alot. But usually 1/2 to 3/4 of the group is there chatting away in groupchat, and checking out every approaching dot with a duel macro. AFK one's are indeed dumb, though.

the wookies arent NPC's they are creatures NPC's have specific Names every wookie is the same little creature just because its a "person", infact i dont think Kash has many if any NPC's on it that can be attacked. although I never grinded on kash and never will

i think there will be just as many as before if not more post pub 20. the fact is you can grind to knight pretty much with immunity on the wookiee exploit.

you have plenty of time to see if a bh is coming and use the duel exploit to see if they have your mission and move to the LoS exploit if they have, the bh has no chance of suprise

i've not played after pub 20 but since the feral wookiees have no names i believe they won't be classed as NPCs and hence will not give viz.

if the seeker droids do not work on kashyyyk then there is no way to get your target's name when you land as there is on other planets. you will have to explore multiple instances, up to 16 if memory serves and will have to go right through each to locate your mark by using tab, this will be too time consuming and not economically viable for most gamers

a jedi can get exp quicker grinding on another planet but he cannot do it with complete safety as on kashyyyk. grinding off kashyyyk is a gamble, you gain exp quicker but there is a much greater chance of a bh coming, with the wookiee & LoS exploit you gain exp slower but with no risk of losing it to a bh.

probably the jedi will leave kash once they have made knight, so any jedi you do find off kash will be full template, the new changes have now made it impossible for 2 bh's to team up to take down a powerful jedi. even if you do manage to track down a jedi that is not on kashyyyk, with FR3, cloak or the lift exploits the chances are they wont stay and fight.

Hope this didn't come off like a whine post, just my thoughts on pub 20.

All very valid points but you tend to miss out on one vry important aspect of not grinding on Kash. Yes the wookies are worth a little over 1k to a cl level 80 Jedi on Kash ... But so is a Bol on either dant or Tat. Soyour looking at non kash grind somewhere aroud 25-30k per lair times what 16 lairs or a min of 400k Jedi experience in about an hour and a half.

Thats almost 4x the amount of Jedi xp a Jedi can make in the same amount of time on Kash --- Plus NO VISIBILITY Gained

Jedi will continue to grind on Kashyykk for the same reason they did pre-publish 20. They can avoid death by using exploits. Why would it matter if they got visibility whenthey can exploit to avoid any death?

ahh, so since wookiees have no names they are criters... that reasoning makes the following critters as well:

A gungan hermit (no longer named)
A Dark Jedi Master (no longer named)
A Swamp trooper
A rebel ensign
etc...

in case you missed it, they REMOVED 90% of the names on NPC's. because the sheer amount of killing done made the server choke as it had to reroll random 1000 names every 0.00001 seconds. so, sadly your line of reasoning failed.

that was my point, you can earn exp much quicker off of kashyyyk, but with that comes the risk of a BH coming, you can earn 400k in 1 1/2 hours but lose it to a BH if he turns up, or you can safely grind away on the wooks without ever having to worry about a bh coming.

viz withing groups has gone, but can you ever truly trust people in a group? tbh theres a lot of people out there who don't like jedi at the moment. there's a lot of combat medics who are cheesed off at the "nerf CM" topics on the jedi forum, plus the pistoleers and riflemengetting nerf cried at them too. jedi are gonna have to be v careful who they grind with as i think them trying to get other professions nerfed is gonna backfire on them.

also npcs do randomly spawn and people can drive a bit close on speeders which can also cause viz.

so coming off kash is a gamble, you can win big with fast exp but lose big too if a bh catches you, depends if the new breed of jedi are gamblers or not i suppose
