Just wondering, is the drop rate of the elite loot going to be based on the difficulty of the mark or is it still going to be independent of that?

Silly question I know,
How can you tell what is Boss level and what is not? I signed back up hearing about this new NPC BHer system that drops loots and is difficult so im back to investigate. Killed one mark already but learned very fast that these are no ordinary marks and well... It was pretty exciting to see an NPC kick the snot out of me.
So... How can you tell the differance between the Gold elite and the Bosses?
Can anyone point me to a guide?

Are they "fixing" the loot table concerning elites and bosses? I was getting better drops from "normal" marks. Elites are giving me 1 smuggler component and bosses are giving 1 smuggler and 1 jar of bugs.

Two ways
- Elite Marks have Silver Chevrons on either side of thier name; Boss Marks have Gold Chevrons by theirs
- Elite Marks have a 18k ish HAM; Boss Marks have a 35k ishHAM
So if we get only boss marks, the boss marks are gonna drop good loot?
Ive gotten like 30 bosses and got slicing materials from all of them.
Ive got enough mandalorian slicing componets to make a full suit of mandal armor atm

Got to agree with a couple of the posts above - if they don't change the loot tables in some way then what difference will this make? I really don't fancy fighting more 35k HAM's just to still get a jar of bugs at the end of it. Without a change to the loot tables it would be much easier to drop the whole investigation line and get loot from the 6K HAM marks that are on the same planet.
