Yes. It just wont get you very far since your points get cut in half and you need more points for elite boxes than you do for starter boxes.

Let me get something straight about the Respec

Am I correct about all the following? :

New players who have reactivated are given a 3 week grace period or "respec period" if you will. At the end of these three weeks they can no longer respec.

ALSO

You can respec in this three weeks as many times as you want in 12 hour intervals? Or is it just one chance to respec then that is your permanent spec?

Every 12 hours in the 3 week interval, after that you will have one final "token respec" you can keep as long as you want.

Thanks for all the great help guys. Also. Now that I know what CL is... i am at a meager 19 CL.. MY old weapon requires 54! How canI get that CL up and what is the fastest way to do it?

Your CL is calculated thru combat profession skill boxes.

So start grinding out something. find a group that is grinding xp and get in there.
You only need to hit a mob once to get full xp. if you want an easy group go to Dantooine Mining outpost find a group killing Bols. as long as every one is on the same page of music you can tear thru these missions real fast. Also be fore you go out find an Entertainer and get an inspiration buff for + 10% xp.
