That certainly would be something, but would you put a decaying ADK on your perfect lightsaber knowing that you would lose your item if you remove the ADK or it runs out of condition?
Lol, that would not be a problem. Lightsaber is easy to make, its the crystals/pearls that make the saber. So let the adk lose condition, once it gets below a certain point, pull the crystals/pearls, make a new saber, slap a theoretical crafted ADK on the new saber, toss the crystals/pearls back in, rinse - repeat.

Erm, i would have thought a 1 yr veteren would know better, if they want to sell it at that price with their experience of the game then that is their own problem imo.

I agree, except under the condition of my above statment. But just as a matter of curiosity, do you think someone that ripps other people off deserves to get ripped off? If so, then you contradicted your earlier statement. (If not, you must not believe the source that says "an eye for an eye", which is your decision of course, but just saying)

There are lots of casual players not knowing the price on things, if they have like 700k credits a 5 mill offer for their adk could be tempting... And those comming back from a 6 month break
