Thread: Speaking of ADKs.....
Also...
If you have the credits, you can try and buy one from the forums or you can try one of those ADK lotteries that are becoming ever so popular that people post on here.

I know WHAT they are, but how does one get them?
Is it a anniversary reward? Craftable? Loot? I see that ppl have them and use them and sell them, but where do they get them originally?

What if the ADK was craftable, but the ADK ITSELF decayed? That would be something!
That certainly would be something, but would you put a decaying ADK on your perfect lightsaber knowing that you would lose your item if you remove the ADK or it runs out of condition?

Well, if I had it my way, when the ADK ran out of condition it would disappear and your item would no longer be adk'd, after which you would need to have another crafted

But seriously, ADKs are unrealistic and unfair to crafters. They should have never been put in game(and yes, I enjoy their benefits, but I still feel that way)

there are some epic items you just can't/couldn't use before an ADK tho:
Mandolorian armor
Good tuned pearls (now in the post-cu days)
Ris Armor (before the components became common)
kinda sucked to go through the expense/effort to get those then just have them hang in a guildhall because they're too precious to use.
naw the adk is fine the problems is that somepeople buy them all up then resell and an insanly higher cost so one or 2 people have like most of the servers adks
Easy solution to that: "epic" items not having condition, meaning no decay. However, normal craftable items never decaying is bad for crafters, and that was my original point.

Yeah ADKs should have come with a Noob warning: Do not sell this item, you will regret it later...
I only have 2, wish I had 10
