I was scanning through starwars.com a day or so ago and looking at the different things. Then I noticed a real life person playing Mara Jade. Now I'm not sure if this person will be in the movie or not. Another thing to point out though is how Lucas has incorporated an element of the EU into the continuity of the story.

You can find the image while looking at:

http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/marajadeskywalker/eu.html

She is on the left column.

Any idea if she will be in the movie? If so then Lucas has broken his own continuity because if she exists during the movies then Luke and Leia are not the only ones who are capable of using the force. However before someone says it Lucas can change her character to not have any abilities at all.

Also she looks awfully old to be around 20 some years to marry Luke and then to bear children with Luke. She already looks like she is in her late 20's if not in here 30's. If she is around that would make her out to be in her 50's. The PMS must be brutal at the age.

during these times I think she is an assassin/bounty hounter working for the empire. it's not till later that she starts getting intune with the Force (see Dark Forces: Jedi Knight II: Mysteries of Syth) She starts her Jedi training under Kyle Katarn, and as the EU books go through the 3rd Trilogy and beyond that, is when Luke and Mara marry. So if the reference to her says Mara Jade Skywalker...then I would guess she would look a little older.

She was actually going to be in "Return of the Jedi" she was sent to Jabba's Palace and disguised herself as a dancer and was going to kill Luke Skywalker. But thats not how it turned out, she ended up not even being in the movie.

Actually she does make an appearance in the game as an NPC in a theme park mission.

If you read the behind the scenes part of Mara Jade in the Databank, it tells you where the picture comes from.

One of the most remarkable incarnations of Mara was a live action photo taken for the Enhanced Jabba's Palace expansion set for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game. Decipher Inc. hired model Shannon Baksa to pose as Mara for a number of card images. Many subsequent products have since borne Baksa's likeness to represent Mara.

Maybe Im totaly wrong, but I think when Obi-wan and Yodi said there were only two, I think those were the

ones they knew about. I know the books by other people aren't cannon, but there are a ton of people existing

at this time that are force-sensitive. Nightsisters and The singing mountain witches, and all the people they

encounter in later books that are force sensitive. Out of all the people in the galaxy, I dont think they could

have killed all the Force sensitives besides two.
