Which the mean lady replied, why do I need a ranger they are useless, my speeder works just as good. Well if they work so good why the bloody hell did I find them 1st. I have noticed an increase of Rangers on Lowca for sure, which can only mean one of 2 things. Either everyone is pissed off at the prices we charge and have gotten 2nd accounts OR Ranger is a better profession then most people like to admit. I like to think its option #2. The lady who was giving you a hard time is A. someones 2nd account and they just have Ranger to supply themselves resources or B. An old Ranger who is jealous that she is no longer 1 of the 3 Rangers that used to walk Lowca. At any rate don't let it get to you. Your a great guy and one hell of a Ranger.

LOL ROFL....i like ranger its just kinda boring at times, i just get bored of tracking stuff constantly..andmilking things..the joy ^^ heh i'll shut up and go ingame now...

im a nov Ranger , 2232 , an im jus proud to be joinin a community that actually seems to be proud of what we are , an its great fun to be in one of the proffessions where its really cool to get in character , i know a certain amount of grindin is required in this game , but there is a lot more to it thanthat , I cant wait to get my master ranger tag an when I do nobody is gonna deflate me with any duff comments , i'll know that I have worked damn hard for it , will be chuffed with the acheivement , and will be honored to be part of a very elite band of brothers an sisters..................nuff said

Fight? Yeah we can. Why I have master pistoleer and don't need armor or buffs. Any dumbazz can kill stuff in a can and buffed (for now). Takes talent to do otherwise.
Make millions - oh hell yeah. Will break 25 today, my goal I set last week. And the last 2 mil is not on meat or hides, but on stuff I looted. But wait, I can't fight??

I ran into a guy on Dathomir the other day who was telling me all kinds of things about what a waste of SP my ranger boxes were. Well, I was on my way out to run a grinding camp for some baby jedi friends of mine, so I basically ignored him. A little while later, he sends my Doc alt a tell asking for a rez. Since I don't keep Reki buffed when I am running a grinding camp, I slapped a camo on him and ran him out to this guy. I decided to make a show of it and drug him back to base (right through the middle of several Rancor spawns) before rezzing him. He was quite shocked that none of the Rancors had agro'ed on me, and I explained the camo to him. Then he asked to be let into the group so he could get a music buff from the dancers. At this point I told him that I charge 200K/Hour for base camp services, up front. His jaw about hit the floor when he did the mental math and realized that 5 Jedi @ 200K = 1 Mil/Hour (I wasn't charging anything for this particular camp, but I didn't mention that to him). He kept asking me if ALL Rangers make that kind of money and I just replied "The money's not worth it. This profession is a waste of SP remember? You said so yourself."
Anyway, I haven't slept in a while, and I am kinda rambling. Point is, guy got told. Maybe realized there's more to Ranger than meets the eye.

Face it, not everyone can be a Ranger. If they could, they'd call them Jedi ;-)

You're a Ranger; be proud. There's not many of us left these days and it's not the easiest road to take, because you can't just AFK combat your way up. It's also one of the few elite professions that requires mastering a basic profession, a sacrifice not everyone's willing or able to make. So hold your head up!
And that other person--if the only reason they got Ranger was for the tag, then they're not a Ranger. They're a Counterstrike player in Ranger clothing.
Or they're looking at you and thinking, "Crap--competition."
