Yep, they do AOE attacks. The problem is that for some reason vehicles count as like a level 0 item and NPC's do ridiculous damage to a bike. I had one of those bugged "Imperial Sand Troopers" (the ones that are aggressive towards Imperials ) shoot at me when I was doing a mission, I am level 80 he was level 25... he hit me for about 23 points of damage and hit my swoop for 2600 points of damage. Funny, as a MBH/MR I can't hit a level 1 mob for 2600 with any AOE attack I might have
