We are still a combat class. Combat class= protection. We are not a non combat class liek trader and dont fight we fight and need armor your answer makes no sense melee is stil in game it is now mainly jedi as melee and commando smug and bh have melee in there trees.

o and 50 billion jedi around is definatly gonig by the movies lol. Umm so your argument doesnt wokr all that well since we dont go by movies we kind of veered off around pub 5 or 6

once again your missing the point entirely and making your OWN arguement. The arguement is why jedi dont have innate armor. The reason is because jedi do not NEED it now since jedi outclasses the other profs melee attacks and they can become invulnerable to ranged attacks at will for short spans of time. Jedi dont need innate armor because they can now block 100% of shots fired at them with saber block. And the few melee attacks the other professions get wont do much good to deal damage against a jedi whose soul occupation is melee and force attacks.
