We get nerfed (again again, I didn't accidentally write that twice, read them together and it makes sense) and you guys get a sniper rifle with exploding shells.

They dont ACTUALLY explode. Its just a misleading discription.

Has anyone been able to locate this rifle??? Is it crafted by a weaponsmith, recieved as a reward from a quest, or what. Anxious to get this powerful rifle. Please respond if you have and intel on it. Thanks.

It is a quest reward in the Etyyy Hunting Grounds from Sordaan. It is now called the Fallan Hyper Rifle.

I think it's part of the Outcast quests that come afterthe Kerritamba village > Arena quests in the Kkowir forests.
It's actual name is the LD-1 and looks very nice, but nothingout of the ordinary power wise.

It's usefulness isn't in it's awe inspiring 915 max damage, it's in the damage type. Kinetic! /cheer
no crafted kinetic rifles canget the stats on this or the LD-1(except some very very nice gorax bones in a tusken)
2 bonuses to the dmg type are: 1) People use PSG's. Ding! 2) There are a lot of Riflemen.......and they wear what kind of armor......which has lowest resists to what type of dmg......
Test it out sometime. In PvP I tend to use my kinetic rifles more often than my energy.
Oh, but btw....The quest for getting this rifle is very lonnnnng and borrrrring. Not overly difficult but it took myself and another experienced player about 8 hours in total. I suggest the LD-1, but if you have the determination I'd get both and use one with an action pup and one with a dmg pup.

My converted tusken does the same dam as the Hyper Rifle, andI dont often go shooting other rifleman, professional curtesy. Those BH though, they often dont like me, or the Jedi.

LD-1 is a different rifle.

If you want a gun that looks like the ESSR you can always get the Covert Retaliation from Necrosis...It doesnt do kinetic but it does over 1k dmg and a couple of decent mods...It's dmg type is energy.
