I've tried MBH, MC, CM 4000 and MBH, MP, CM 4000.


From my experience, the healing ability is a huge help, so I wouldn't trade that.


I'll probably stick with the MC over MP because of the range and damage output. The only thing I really miss from pistoleer is stopping shot...I'm not sure how big a differencenothaving recon armor will make.

my template is in my sig and it rules but my change to combat prowess x4xx for the speed as my accuracy is so high any way

This is a new account, so don't think I'm to noobish. (mastered BH before mounts came out)


I use MBH, M Pistoleer and 4000 smuggler, Its great for kiting jedi around, very usefull to wear them down. With Last Ditch I've done up to 4.2k damage in one hit, around 2k after jedi defense take in on a knight. It is great in normal duels as I just let them get me down and LD for the win, almost an I win button, expect for the ham cost so once you use it, you better get the DB in and you can only use when almost dead or it is worthless. I also solo up to giant Krayts with ease.


Other build I was looking into was MBH, M Pistoleer and 0440 carbineer. It seems like a good build with +50 general ranged accuracy, a snare, and a KD.



Kind of a in the back post, but take a look as I like it. I have taken out a 226k jedi and incaped another twice before it killed me. However I hunt the jedi solo, don't fight them in a "duel" setting, but I kill them like they should be killed.

I tried this build and it seemed real nice. I didn't pvp with it though so, sorry cannot report on jedi effectiveness.

quick question. i'm master marksman, master carbineer, 0404 bounty hunter, 3430 medic, i just used my last skill points a few days ago. now i'm going to have to drop the medic skills to reach master bounty hunter, would it be safe to drop the master marksman and use those points along with losing some med points. i just hit level 67 and am trying to do this so i can reach level 80. any suggestions on how i should go about this?

You should keep at least the bacta spray skill and dump the rest of medic. I don't understand why your not a level 80 because I have MBH/MR and 0400 medic.

My eventual template will be Master BH / Master Rifleman / Master Marksman / 0003 Pistoleer.


I'm almost there, I have all except I'm on 2444 BH at the moment. I'm thinking this will be a jedi killer template hopefully. I have no healing but stims are a very good replacement I hear. Obviously I went 0003 in pistols for the root, which is a must imo. I have a really sweet T21, with this I can advanced sniper shot the jedi and then root, while they are rooted I can hit them with a head shot and a torso shot for max damage, then hit them with a knockdown when the root breaks, blasting them some more.Not only does rifleman give uber damage it has the longest range,while they are knocked down you can snare with knee cap shot, at 65m range and snared you could get some decent shootage in before they get to you.Havn't figured out the plan of action after that but so far it seems sound, I'm still a noob BH so I could be wrong. Any input/comments on my template are apreciated.

Hello.

What about :
Master BH / CM 4000 / Carabineer 0430 / Pistol 0004

Which give you good heal, One root, two KD, One snare

Do you tinks I will do enough damage? Or shall i prefere a template like

Master BH / Master Rifle / CM 4000

Master BH / Master Carabineer / CM 4000

Master BH / Master Pistoleer / CM 4000

If the first one (Master BH / CM 4000 / Carabineer 0430 / Pistol 0004) is not good witch one of the tree other should I take?

I'm certainly not the most knowledgeable authority on templates by a long-shot as I've JUST come back after several months. Was MBH ever since release (Well...actually I've been playing since release and had been MBH since a few months after), pre-Cu, and now post-Cu...and now with these respecs...I'm trying to determine my own template as well. Lots to learn.


I might be wrong, but it looks as though the template you were asking about leaves out any recoveries (No dizzy recovery, blind recovery, stun recovery, etc.) I think the only recovery you'll have is Knockdown recovery from the novice marksman box. You might want to look into that.


As for myself....my wife plays a Master Combat Medic and we always play together so none of my templates involve any sort of MCM. The one's I'm looking into are:


MBH-MP-C0440

MBH-MP-R4400

MBH-MC-P0404

MBH-MR-P0404


I've even considered:

MBH-TKM-Novice Polearm (Seems like it would be fabulous for PVE when I've got a combat medic around all the time, but lousy in PVP. Seems to make a good PVE Tank though).


The first four above I'm pretty torn between....and for every 5 minutes I think I've got one I like...I spend the next 5 minutes liking something else.


-TheMP templates give advanced stopping shot which I'd really like to get.

-MC templatesmight be overkill and redundant with lots of the specials, but you get the nice range of the carbine while pistols are up close and personal. Even mixing MP with C0440 might be overkill. I've done VERY little testing on this template and I felt a bit 'overwhelmed' by the number of special moves available and there seemed to be alot of redundancy.

-The MR templates are nice and give you cover-up, conceal shot, sniper shot, head shot which seems very popular. Plus a nice long range. However, then I'd probably lose carbines and well....I just plain like carbines


Tough choices.

Master Bounty Hunter

The Carb is my main weapon and the pistol specials such as the root and disarm special give me a good range of specials. Plus the extra melee and ranged def from the pistol trees is ok.


Currently my main weapons are my proton carbine, elite carb, hi cap scatter, and an FWG5 that has somepistol modsawesome mods that I forgot.


It's hard to determine what kind of template is best for a BH, we are tanks so it should seem that we are good at defensive, but we are supposed to be able to take down an single opponent in the game (that seems like both defense and offense, since some of the uber mobs in the game that we should be able to solo are killing me in a few hits, such as black sun spawns.)


But my role as aTANK still isnt that fulfilling. Tanks, thats somethin you should talk to the devs aboutfor us please.

My template is: MBH, Master Riffle, 3/0/0/0 CM. Very good damage dealing and the CM tree helps out with faster heals and some distance healing when with a group.
