There have been a couple of threads about this on the BH boards with some good ideas to keep it balanced.

i think once u reach cl 80 you should have the option. And if you won the bounty hunter would get the exact price on his head for failing. Could be fun but people would just be cold blooded about it. This way there only cold blooded to us jedi

I come from the land of beer and pie. (The smuggler forums.) I'm also a master BH.


The smugglers were talking and we've all thrown in our hat to be hunted. (with one or two exceptions) The one caveat being that we need something to be hunted for. We all love the ideas posted by GreenMarine in This post.


If the smuggling missions are implemented we've all (with one or two exceptions) said that we'd love for all y'all to hunt us for screwing up missions, etc... It would make for a great RP feeling for our profession. "Aww hell, I failed my mission for Jabba." ::checks last ditch:: "Ready."

100% agree.


I dont know if it was just worded this way for the benefit of doing so, or if it was a hint at things to come, but did anyone notice they put "Player Bounties" when they talked about hacing to be MBH to hunt Jedi. They didnt say "Jedi Bounties", which they could have and it woul dhave made sense, but they didnt.
Think that was just a fancy way to not offend Jedi, or do you think there is more to it than that?

yes i would love to be able to hunt my former bretheran, i wonder how a mbh/ms would work, fail mission take on mission, would be fun, but id love to take on a smuggerler

ok being a jedi and having a mbh/mcm alt i would love for smugglers to be hunted not only would it make the jedi/bh situation better coz u wouldnt be hunting as much but it would also give smugglers some well need ed love. i think this is a great idea and i believe at some point they will doing this its the case of when.

Yeah, I think we'd have a lot less griefing if there were more player bounties. (Voluntary, of course.)


-5000 imp or reb faction (overt players) and you're on the terms.

Though it would be good to keep the people who can get bounties put on them as masters. That way they probably have a better chance of being an even match for the BH.


Master smuggler screws up a master's mission for Jabba. He's on the terms. (For example)

I would love to hunt smugglers would be new and chalenging wondering is this guy rifle , pistol, carb, tkm, not the watching a jedi and seeing what mods they have on to determin how to fight em.

Here's an idea I just thought of... Lets say an Imp npc spots a person and searches them.. If that person is holding a sliced weapon. The smuggler that sliced it "can" end up on the terms.... I'm sure there are holes in my idea, but I just came up with it 2 seconds ago...
