Tacwraith, I like this system a lot, with one exception. I know it was only an example, but 1000 FP? I make 1000 FP by accident sometimes. Perhaps if it were more along the lines of 10000 FP (or is that what you meant to type)? I mean, hell, you can make 1000 FP just in rewards for JtL missions.

Yeah but you only need 200 FP to join. A lot of people don't bother levelling their rank as it doesn't really get them anywhere. Factional armor and AT-ST's may be worth something toyou but to me it isn't worth the effort.

I say have it be factioned based but also based on rank. No one would issue a bounty on some low ranking foot soldier, but those who place bases and have high rank should be hunted. Visibility could accrue when the factioned player is overt or TEF'd, once they have enough visibility they pop up on the terminals with a bounty posted by the Empire or the Rebellion. I wish they would come up with something though, even if it was voluntary, something you accept and then later decline, with a timer to avoid getting out of a kill. I would love to be part of a player bounty system that was built into the game.

1000fp is about right.

think about it. you gain fp only by participating in gcw. If you kill a stormtrooper by accident (yeah, 'ewps') you gain rebel fp. you kill a rebel trooper? gain imp faction.

And notice i said EARN. I didnt say total. Earning fp = participating in gcw.

both the alliance and the empire would issue bounties on their enemies.


This is geared towards making NEUTRAL faction be the only un-huntable faction.. and also the one that cannot participate in gcw. Become rebel or imperial and the player joining is giving YOU, the BH, permission to force PVP on him, as the GCW *is* about pvp.

I bet BH get tired of hunting jedi - jedi - jedi o did i say jedi ?


I have an idea for normal players to be hunted by BH,


Some missions have a message that says "If you take this mission and fail "mission giver" will put a bounty on your head." To get people to take these missions "harder" is that they give a bigger payout then other missions and or a possible rare item reward. If you did these missions in a group the group will have an options to Take Missions or not. SO in solo groups and a rouge member takes it they wont all get a BH. SO if 5/10 of them want to help they pick yes.

If we want player bounties, we have to have a few rules about putting a bounty on someone. This is so we can give the devs a few ideas. Just post what you think the guidelines should be. I for one say that, a bounty should only be placed on a particular person once a week.

This post will die soon because this topic has been brought up about Million times, The Devs never comment on it. Dead Topic.


But just in case they do read this, I would have to say I disagree with you, It should be a NPC faction that puts bounties on Players.


Jabba, IMP, Reb only. If you fail a big jabba mission, Your name gets thrown in the terminals. If you have -5000 Reb and Imp or Jabba factions points, Your name is thrown in the terminals. Once your hunted and killed your faction gets set back to half or zero, or at lest -500.


I also like to point out that if you are in the guide lines that are listed above, You should be givien a option to choose to Particapate in PVP player bounties. NO one should be forced to PVP. I have another idea that I'm undecided about, Should there be XP loss to keep people from exploiting. or Just no Decay on Items. Not sure about this one.


anyway just like all the other Topics about Player bounties this one will be lost too.

The Devs considered it for a while I believe, but there would be too many problems with it.


If you ticked off a rich person you could find yourself hunted 24/7, which would bea bad thing.


And I can't imagine how many mean-spirited people would put prices on the heads of every new player they saw.
