My question would be why would you need to ask? Is a DEV randomly going to each of our houses making sure we are all clicking our mouses (mice?) for the grind?

actually they did recently post a reminder about the illegality of 3rd party programs on the announcement board, and I've heard in other games they have a system where they can tell if someone is using one of these because no human can consistently make clicks at the exact same spot at the exact same times with perfect rhythm for long periods of time. Though I've never played any other mmorg so I can't confirm.

i doubt they could (or have the will to) prove this.. they can say all they want aabout "not being humanly possible" but SOE isn't gonna come over to ur house and keep eyes on u

they wouldn't have to prove it, the proof is in the pudding, or rather perfect succession of mouse clickswith perfect accuracy locationfor prolonged periods of time.

of course if they were going to do this I'm sure they would have done it by now.

Third Party Programs
Please remember that exploiting bugs or using third party programs in Star Wars Galaxies is a direct violation of our Terms of Service and anyone caught using these programs or exploiting may have their account(s) terminated.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Here is the new post.
Now does anyone know where the post is that says exactly what a 3rd party program is?
I have now searched all over the net and these boards... What I have come to know is a 3rd pary program is something that inneracts with the game for you in some manner. This is not the same as simply a repeat of same button.
From what I have read that means a third party is somethingthat does this ...
If game does X third party makes you do Y... If game does Z third party makes you do Q... and so on.
What this would allow is a player to turn on the program and have it "play the game for her/him with a cpu program that is ableto read and react to changes in the system"
Now from what I understand a macro or a repeater of same button (ie fan) is not this, becuase it cannot "inneract" with the system thusnot a 3rd party program or intelligence for lack of a better description.
However, I know that anything I read on the net can bea load....
If anybody knows for sure or can post a description please do.
Again TY to everyone for responding

Considering how long I have waited forCSR to unstick me from a wall, I seriously doubt they have the manpower to monitor this type of stuff.

Hell yes this is an exploit. How could it not be? You're using a bug in one game mechanic (dueling) to bypass the effects of another game mechanic (the BH/Jedi mission system). Why would you need a dev to specifically state this is an exploit? Just read the EULA and use common sense.
Report his cheap ass.
not a bug if it is working as intended... which right now thats the way the game is designed, so its working as intended.
Okay let me use a jedi friendly term.... lets call it GRIEFING...
Yup
GRIEFING....
