I have MBH/Master Fencer. Good in PVE, haven't hunted Jedi with it though. I'll try to do it tonight and get back to you guys.

here it is folks.

For hunting jedi you have some wicked healing powereven ifyou don'tcouple with stims. If you PvP even half decent you should be able to avoid enough of their damage and heal what does land to last a LONG time. You also have the ability to whip out some nasty damage combo's when you think their force is drained far enough or when they let their health drop too low for the win.

This template is also a wicked PvE/grouping template as your a high long term damage dealer, an excelent healer, and can even take on the role as tank since you can heal your self so well. You are also one of the bigeset baddest soloers out there. Learn to use the techniques given to you and you can take out groups of 3 level 84's, or even higher level solo mobs. (I've soloed level 79 juvenile Krayts with this template since they were beefed up, havent tried any of the harder ones yet.)

I just didnt feel the CMDoT's were doing enough to replace the healing power. May switch back if enahncers prove to beef up the DoT damage.

Read a few more of these and it seems like what everyone wants to know is "What is the best BH template Vs. Jedi". Well wasnt the point of the CU to balance the system. This leads me to beleive that there are several templates that when used to their potential can be equally effective. When chosing your template remember whats important. If you are going to fight jedi, you want to have good defences, you want to be able to remove status effects, you want to be able to cause status effects, and probably the most important (imo)is that you want to be able to heal your self. Being able to drain your action bar using specials and then rely on your mind bar to heal yourself back up while your action regens is a big advantage i have found. I find disarming shot and root invaluable and dont know how i would play without them. But perhaps if i was MCM i would compensate with DoT's and snare.

If you want to blitz newb jedi from coverthen MBH/MR/what ever is probably your best bet as you can pump out major damage really fast. This attack wont work on most higher level jedi though.

i made a shot in the blue with my last respec and made the follwing template:

MBH
Pistoleer 0413
Doc 4004

General Ranged Accuracy 140
Pistol Acc 40

so quite nice even when wielding a carb or rifle for the range

General Ranged Speed 40
Pistol Speed 25

doesnt sound that much BUT you can buff yourself for +40 speed !

Healing Efficiency 80 (105 with clothes), use stim d, use improved bacta infusion, use improved bacta jab, use improved bacta shot, use various injections/buffs including +40 speed buff

specials usable: underhandshot for knockdown, advanced critical for damage, improved confusion shot for dizzy/stun, improved duelist stances for additional defenses, eyeshot for blind, improved disarming shot for short time "breath air", improved quickdraw for fast recycling damage (need to test if that is really worth the box) and last but not least improved stopping shot for 15 seconds root

how does that sound ?

I really liked the idea of heal over time and the buffs. I acutally tried Doc with BH and pistols at different levels but in the end it wasnt worth all the skill points to me when stacked up againstCM heals and defences for less skill points.

If Doc only required 1 line of medic I think i would have gone that route aswell.

Currently, MBH, MR, Pistols 0004, Think ranged speed 80, Ranged Accuracy 310, Mellee defense 275, Ranged Defense 322, I think is a killer template for just about anything, the right tools do the right jobs.

MBHer / MPist / 4000 Smuggler

Damage leaves something to be desired. Con Shot and Stopping shot I found to be stackable (ie on about to run out, hit with other). Adv Crit Shot is a must.......

When dealing with lower lvl Jedi I just knock their HAM to around 2/3s and let them chop me up. Since they are such high ham still they dont worry about healing. Once they get me to about 10% HAM I unload a last ditch to the face and incap em. Ive more than one tell unbelievingly wondering what the heck happened.

On full template jedis, well.... I just gank lol. A fellow pistol user and a rifleman usually do the trick.

PS: Imps Should Hunt Rebs, Rebs can hunt each other. Support your fellow Imperial crackpots!

PPSS: Can we get a faction of target on the BHer terms? Sheesh, ya think someone would know who they worked for!

My template: Master BH, Master Combat Medic

My thoughts: I love it. It's a great PvE template, and I've also had some pretty good success fighting jedi with it. Its not the ultimate in pop-em-and-drop-em templates, but it definitely makes for longer and more interesting fights (ie, I don't have to win within the first60 seconds to have a chance). I have the self-endurance to actually stand a decent chance of outlasting that giant force bar.

My honest opinion though: I think you can be successful with nearly any template you choose, if you put your mind to it. There are SOOO many ways to be unique with this profession and come up with new ways of killing jedi, that I don't think there is such a thing anymore as an Uber-template.

PS: The CU rocks, the Kashyyyk expansion rocks, this game now officially rocks my socks off, and if you say otherwise, then well, you need to get off of that old railroad track in your head .

I went with MR / MBH / CMed 4/0/0/0 and all I can say is it is AWESOME! I can take on 3 lvl 80s in PvE with my sniper shot lead in and then my KDs, Roots and heals. If things get too rough, I turn tail and run healing myself all the while. For me its a great template.

Well I am still a bit off from where I want to be, but I have an idea of roughly where I want to go. At this time I a BH 4/2/4/4, a Pistoleer of 0/0/0/1, a Master Marksmen, Scout 4/3/0/1, and a Medic of 0/3/0/0. Sorry if these are offa bit, not sure if the scout and medic line is dead on. Am at work right now and going from my memory.

Where I want to go is something along these lines. MBH - Pistoleer 0/0/0/4 - Carbineer 0/4/0/0 with any leftover points into Combat Medic and filling out Pisoleer & Carbineer with any skill points I have to make me a more effective killing machine and to keep m'self alive as well.

Not sure how well this will work, but I want to have the root option from the Pistoleer branch and the snare shot from the Carbiner line as well. Any ideas would be helpfull, so I know which way to bring my toon. I think I am going to drop all of the scout except what I need to play a BH to free up some skill points. I am not sure if you folks clear up the line in Marksman, but I like having the skills that gives me. Like the Aim option that Rifle gives meis helpful.
