Well, its not that top-issue and I dont know if it has been brought up allready, but

I dont feel right if my bio shows "has mastered Bounty Hunter profession". It is like if a mass murderer would wear a tag around his neck saying what he does for living/fun. If you hunt somebody, you are supposed to start annonymously. Of course many Jedi keep their firends lists updated with server BHs allready. So there is no need for anybody that reads your bio to know what you are. It is simulary stupid as putting up a MBH tag over your head.

I dont have a bigger problem with it I just think its not right in a sense of stalking.

ok this is the real deal im master bh MASTER rifle man with accuracy mods +50 + 50 speed, i dont move when i fight a jedi i used advanced aim +FOOD,

but i miss more than i hit this game is so retarted is not even fun any more ok a guy with no skill can miss

but a mbh mr misses 75% with +50 tapes and food and advanced aim ,what is it with this game it is so messed up a master misses more than a novice

IF YOU want us to go 1v1 you better make it so we hit 100% of the time at master if not stick your game up your brown star cos this is the worst game in the world and you are loseing more customer ever day now just close all the servers and delete everthing.

i say in 6 months no more people will be playing this crap game

also stims disapper when in combat with a jedi, items i payed 20 mill for dissapper and i never get a reply from your crap cs or the dev team.

this is the worst cs and game in the world

i love starwars this is not starwars this is crap

ive payed for 2 years and still nothing still the same bs

so in all this jedi still have 85% block with the armour and aura and infusion and every other thing a jedi gets also

they give them more offensive power as well ,but you jedi will say oh we got a big nerf ,bs if you ask me,

the dev take with one hand and give it with the other with jedi with all the other profession they just take away.

now that is pure bs devs licking jedi a$$ which is wrong because most jedi have exploited the game to get to jedi.that is a fact .

most jedi are over the 210k mark so they have nothing to lose but you still lick there a$$,

and make them stronger if a jedi is afk he should die in 3 shots like they kill us in 3 hits ,but we are at the keyboard? how is this balance.

what is the point in hunting jedi when they get all the tricks and stuff we get nerf nerf nerf you destroyed my uber weapons you made evey one the same,

but you made jedi even stronger ffs are you all so thick you can do one thing right,

i hope you get it right cos in 6 months there with be only jedi servers

at the moment there is 1200 jedi on gorath no guild can stop a team of jedi unless they are jedi

GCW is a joke

DEVS team is a joke

jedi/bh is a joke

the whole game is just 1 big waste of money

my account will be canceled and many more as well if you dont fix this jedi problem oh wait jedi make more money than any amount of full servers right

what is best all servers full and a good gcw

or 1/3rd of the servers 1/3rd full with just jedi

thats is how dumb soe really is ???

prove me wrong but i dont think you can now

also im sick off the jedi fight and run and fight and in ahouse tactic that is total bs as well

if you can answer any thing in my this whine i will be amazed cos soe is just fos

Here is my only gripe. I have gone through the new pub20 changes and everything looks good. TC Players have reported that the system is working as is intended. However, I have one small request. Change it so we can get the Jedi players name by either a probot or a seeker. There are several other ways to work this out as well but I think this is my biggest concern. I dont want to go on a totally anonymous mission to find a friend of mine is my mark. This way it saves me an hour tracking down a mark I dont intend to kill. There are several other reasons as well. We may be getting paid by a certain guild or something not to hunt certain jedi. It only makes sense to give us the name at some point along the mission.

I think the names should come from the informant. Another Idea would be to make the name and possibly faction (or whatever information is decided to be available) only available to Master BH. And the lower the level of Investigation you have should lower the amount of information you have on the Jedi.

I totally agree, anonymous Jedi missions are a complete waste of time.

lol so they're seriously making the mission targets anonymous? How can a bounty be put on an unknown persons head? What a joke.

This game shoudn't have been named Star Wars: Galaxies it should have been named Star Wars: Return of the Jedi or something to that effect.

In all actuality, the only way to "control" the jedi population (given the current system to become one) is for Bounty Hunters to discourage it. Meaning that if we don't want to add to the already oversaturated Jedi population we should kill every pathetic low level padewan as many times as possible, while they're losing 300k xp a pop. They don't like it, stay off the terms untill they can take on an MBH. Being Jedi comes with the risk of having a bounty placed on their head. If they don't want that risk they shouldn't be running around with their sabers out, or better yet don't try to be a Jedi!

The devs have already given them a safehaven to grind on, now they're going to protect them even more by making them anonymous on the terms? Definitely a joke. Why don't they just add the option on station.sony.com when they're subscribing:

1-month subscription: $14.99
1-month subscription with jedi toon: $14.99 + 1 time charge of $25.00
1-month subscription with invisible jedi toon (can't be hunted by BH): $19.99 + 1 time charge of $25.00 (lawl)

I mean it is about the money right? It's what makes the world go round, and I don't think anyone here is gullible enough to believe otherwise. Why else would SOE be taking the direction they are with SWG....because it means more money somewhere. LOL I dunno, they're motives obviously aren't with supplying a quality gameplay experience. (That is, with any other players besides Jedi.) It seems like most of the changes made in this game are made as a result of how it affects Jedi.

What's sad is the same type of ppl that buy Jedi toons on Ebay for $1000 would be buying those subscriptions.

Hey Tanks,

I'm a Commando/BH combo and I noticed you listed Underhand Shot as an issue because NPC's and mobs pop up instantly. I don't think thisis an issue with the special per se. When I use my grenades and Underhand Shot, or any knockdown attack for that matter they pop right back up and I don't get a chance to get any shots in. I really think this is because of the last few sets of AI updates. The AI instantly just jumps right back up, no mattter the profession or the knockdown attack. I see this al the time, and it's both frustrating and annoying. You've probably seen it too.

You might add this also:

Most of the BH specials do NOT work with Commando weapons. As a BH I should be able to use my Commando weapons with BH specials (yes, it's true), and they don't seem to function. No wind up, no error, no nothing. They just don't work.

Well I'm a new player, and one of the reasons I picked up this game was because of the Jedi Mystic. I didn't know they were powerful, I didn't know they were hated. I'm just a fan and the idea of living in a Star Wars universe as a persona I've idolized since a kid was appealing. If the Jedi was an average fighter, or even weak I would still strive for it. I'm probably not the only one, Sony obviously have been trying to capitalize on this I guess.

Post like this though make me wonder what I've gotten myself into. Maybe I should cancel my account, and maybe all the new players coming in should cancel their accounts so we can leave youall to your feuds. I wonder how long an online game can last like that? No new players, and old players leaving every week.

Maybe I don't have all the information, actually I'm pretty sure I don't. But sentences like this...

"Jedi population we should kill every pathetic low level padewan as many times as possible, while they're losing 300k xp a pop"

....makes me think I'm playing with a bunch of 12 year olds. One of the other reasons I picked up this game was to get away from immature players in games like Guildwars. I'm hoping this kind of post is notindicative of the community as a whole. It's pretty sad.

Will the types of BH missions change in the near future? I always thought the BH profession was someting along the lines of 'Wantedead or Alive", but the missions currently availible are more in the lines of an assasins gig.

It would be nice if they would fix the terminals to give missions that actually came close to matching the players combat level. My character is lvl 21 and I went through 20 missions to get a task that was in my level range. Talk about a waste of time all the other terminals seem to work ok why cant they get thebounty hunter one right?

I actually picked up this game for reasons similar to yours. Our perspectives are much different at this point though. You just joined the game while I joined almost 2 years ago now, so it may be a little hard for me to adjust to what's happening I guess. In the beginning we were told that Jedi would be RARE and POWERFULL, yet since pub 10 or so that has been changing faster and faster. As Jedi become LESS RARE they seem to be getting LESS POWERFULL by being nerfed and changed. Even though it is unsaid, all the ppl that gripe about Jedi getting nerfed need to realize it is directly linked to the way the Jedi population has exploded. My logic stems from my belief that even though SOE keeps making it easier and easier to be a Jedi while making it harder and harder to hunt them, their population still needs to be "controlled." This of course is left up to the BH's now. This is an MMORPG right? Emphasis on the RPG which means I play the game for ROLE PLAYING. Vader wants dead Jedi, I'm here to help. I don't care if they're padi's or not.

And just so you know, you ARE playing with a bunch of 12 year olds. lol...I'm certain, based on their behaviour in game, there is a significant number of Jedi, and regular profession players alike, that are under 18.

I'm sorry you think my views are immature and sad, but I'm sure there are alot more that do. Believe me, I wish it were different.

You know, I picked up the game for much the same reasons also. For me the reasons were different. I liked the mystic of the Bounty Hunter profession. I didn't do it to go out and kill jedi. For my character, its the thrill of the hunt, tracking your bounty and collecting the payout. My only real gripe about the profession is the lack of thought in the missions. Its all kill, kill, kill. I thought the motto was 'dead or alive'. And your right, you'll find alot of maturity and imaturity in the game. You can almost see who the other person is behind the character by the way they play.
