I honestly think the devs have got the balance about right atm, single MBH can now stand toe to toe with knights due to our healing nerf and CM/DOC healing boost. The only thing jedi needs is some kind of risk besides xp loss.

so far as I understand REDLION78 lost short before he started this thread to a jedi and is now frustrated. Ok I can understand that.


Also I can understand the yell for : balance them ..but..u can't get only the best part of the pie. I already would hear the yells and cries if they would balance it and oh my dear suddenly all have to grind the same xp like jedi and also the same penalities. I think that is not the road we wanna take right?


Also i agree with some of the posts here : Yes a BH that knows what he is doing can get a Jedi even a full templated only takes some tactics. Most jedi even with MDef need to work really hard for their lives if 2 BH show up and if those 2 knows what they are doing.


It is never the template or the profession that wins those fightes it is the playerpower behind it.

OMG please tell me you keep 5-6 seekers up and running when you approach a mark. Please tell me you stay right on thier tail and chew thier force down. Please tell us that you dont totally suck as a bh. If you ask me force cloak breaking like cover helps the jedi. That way you cant eat his force up while he tries to run away. But you dont see the negatives to the jedi powers at all do you? All you want to do is swing the NERF bat around till we all play the same template with the same powers and the same weapons. Who knows? maybe we should turn this game into a FPS and forget roleplay, strategy, tactics, comeraderie and Canon. If we had a FPS all you could m0an about would be how unfair it is my Frames per second are better than yours and my latency is the uber "i win" button. Please learn to hunt jedi.

You can have all those skills and 47 SP remaining. As with jedi templates though if you take them all you must sacrifice soemthing along the way.






Ahem, one of the most popular Master Powers templates is Master Powers (Cloak), 4000Heal (Infusion and 1500 Heal), 0400 LS (Armor Break), 0040Defender (Aura) and the rest in Enhancer for channel, FR, Force Speed etc.


I also know a lot of other Jedi that have force LS/Defender based templates that also have Cloak.


The only thing you are giving up is dual mastery to pick all of these skills and most Jedi Master one Discipline and dabble in the rest anyway.


Not that I am arguing that all of these skills need to go to Master box, just pointing out that not only it is possible to have all in a template, most Jedi have at least 4 out of 5.

Anyone with Doc 4xxx and mind / action food can kill a gnort two levels above him, especially when Armor Break and a good Laser Rifle come into the equation - put on top of that the CoB defense bonus and it isnt too bad.

I did not say that template can kill a Jedi. I said it will be a long fight, implying neither side is able to do enough damage to outdamage the opponents heals.

Offence? IF youcan hold long enough that jedi runs out of force you don't need much more offence.

One fact that gets overlooked in posts like this one is that you can't have balance unless all players have the exact same profession or skillset. Right now, you can have a great pvp'er with MBH, MCarb, pistol x/x/x3 wipe the floor with a full template jedi who has no clue how to pvp and vice versa. If you choose to ignore this fact, then your arguement can be dismissed as simply you are not that good at pvp and someone else is.


Without removing the skills of the players from this equation, all the original poster is doing is trolling. You want balance than ask for everyone to be the exact same, using the exact same weapons/armor with the exact same skills.

The mind pool of the Doc would be empty much sooner than the force pool of the Jedi




Jedi heals have a higher mind cost than Doc heals, and Doc heals at 4xxx Doc heal more than Jedi heals at Healer 4xxx. On top of that, LS attacks, Force Channel and almost all other Jedi moves have a mind cost. Jedi use mind for offense and defense, regular toons use mind only for defense, and on top of that the mind cost on Jedi defense is higher than on regular toons defenses.
Force would be the limit for how long the Jedi can stay in the fight, mind will be the limit on how often he can heal / attack in any given timeframe.
