From replys I guess I am fine and it is not an exploit...
With that being said if any tries to do it, it is easy.... the key is to adjust the speed at which you mouse dbl clicks to match the fan speed.

well technically, it can probably be considered a 3rd party.... something hehe. I mean the game is the 1st party and you are the 2nd party so anything else that does what you are supposed to be doing would be a 3rd party. But I too think its more funny and creative then harmful. Plus I'm sure your rigged fan system is much more limited than a 3rd party program.

now that I think about it, I've only ever heard devs refer to 3rd party programs. So you may have found a loophole. And you give new meaning to being a fanboi.

You are the party of the first part, anything that you create is still part of the party of the first part. If someone else had rigged that up for you, that would be a third party (SOE is the second) and then they may cry foul.
As it appears, you could write some software to stuff the Windows message que with commands to do the clicking/whatever for you and it would still be legal, as it was developed by you and not some third entity.
Currently every profession but the crafting ones have the ability to gain experience either AFK (combat profs., entertainers, healers, & scout), or not logged in at all (Merchant & Politician). Now, there is UXP that you could gain AFK, but it's so small it would take a long time to get enough experience to level up (plus you'd have to be in close proximity to those who are using your weapons).
I salute your creative solution.

your definition of "3rd party" is wrong. Anything other than the in-game mechanics and your own that help you benefit in-game is a 3rd party helper, though as demonstrated here, not necessarily a 3rd party program.

Hell yes this is an exploit. How could it not be? You're using a bug in one game mechanic (dueling) to bypass the effects of another game mechanic (the BH/Jedi mission system). Why would you need a dev to specifically state this is an exploit? Just read the EULA and use common sense.
Report his cheap ass.
not a bug if it is working as intended... which right now thats the way the game is designed, so its working as intended.
What the hell? Did you finish eating a bowl of paint chips? Just because it's coded ingame does not mean it's 'intented'. Following your warped logic, nothing would be an exploit because everything is coded ingame, hence everything would be 'by design'. There have been numerous credit dupes in the past. There was obviously a flaw in the code that allowed it to happen, and, according to your logic, by design. A flaw in the coding is what allows anyone to duel and db a jedi while engaged in combat with a BH.

this doesn't take a Dev or authrority figure to figure out.
Definition of an exploit: "useing a 'bug' or game mechanic in a way that is not intended to gain an unfair advantage"
Im pretty sure that dueling wasn't 'intended' to override a BH's bounty hunting.

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease" and all that.....
In my eyes it's a blatant exploit..any time you come across something that makes you think "exploit" report it...if it's not then they'll let you know and send you on your way....if it is then they need all the complaints they can get and deserve to fix it....
