History lesson. In the days of yore, there was a template. It involved going pistoleer, then coming over and picking up eye shot, or bh pistol 4, and ignoring the rest of the tree. The problem was that everyone saw eyeshot being done to them, and was upset saying BH were overpowered. The same is going to happen. I feel it is a good change in and of itself. It will broaden the class in a sense. IT is dangerous though! With this people will want to pick up bh for eyeshot again. Thats really the only reason I see it happening. This will probably finally move eyeshot to the master box. This was resisted last time, but probably wont now. Other than that I do not see to many ill affects. Spray shot is our best carbine attack. It would be best I think to switch the lightning attacks as single is a more reliable attack and better at master(thats just me though).
The key is jedi hunting at master. Without this jedi hunting for the mbh will be worthless as you will be able to choose much better templates than an actual bh.
Master needs to mean something.
IF YOU DROP THE PREREQ YOU MUST MOVE JEDI HUNTING TO MASTER
I too have to bang this drum. Move the hunting of FS into Master box. You can go MBH with TK 0444 and have 4 lil leftover points to spare. Funny thing, you get no terrain negotiation bonus at 4000 Scout. The terrain bonus is at level 3, so what the hell, give us those extra 5 points.![]()

If a bounty hunter profession is supposed to be the live limitation of jedi, and jedi are supposed to be scarce then I say all the more power to dabblers!
I dont mind having hundreds more people out there hunting the jedi into oblivion because that is our MANDATE... to hunt..
Otherwise, all MBH will stand for is "Boatload of wasted skillpoints"

Ummmm...wouldn't fixing BH instead of just giving it out to everybody else, have accomplished the same result?
If the BH prof worked as advertised, this wouldn't be an issue.
Now...what to spend the skill points on...
For those concerned about dabbling, there's a bright side to this in that any person can choose an elite profession of their choice to use as a BH. I've personally always liked the idea I've read suggested in here of allowing BH to be more of a hunting class where you take it up just to learn those skills to hunt marks and use other professions for your weapons skills. This is a pretty good start on that. If you really wanted, you could take up BH for the mark hunting and then have enough skill points for a decent array of choices of fighting styles. Ideally, BH would be only investigation skills, traps, and the like, but this is fine in the mean time.

I agree, wholeheartedly with making Jedi missions MBH only. Makes sense really, who other than a Master bounty hunter would try to take on a Jedi anyway.
2 other issues I feel need to be reconsidered
1 - The timer for weapon and armor equip. Hurts us a whole bunch in many ways, in PVE I like to use my scatter to throw a quick bleed on a target and switch to my LLC (I'm a 4/2/2/3 BH) to finish them. I think having to wait a little is OK but atm it is too long.
2 - Jedi in starports waving sabers about should be targetable by everyone, really if they are strong enough they should have to pay the price for it. At least consider making it so they get a TEF when doing it in NPC cities.
