Any other thoughts on this template. It is what I intend to do right now. Would it be better to just go MBH/MCM plus whatever or MBH/MC w/ a CM tree? I really like CM, so I don't want to completely part with it.

I lean towards MC over MR because eventually the min range bug will be fixed and I will have rifle penalties while I apply my CM specials that req closer ranges.

OK, I'm having trouble deciding on a template. I need 24 points for FS skills, so here are the templates I'm considering, and the pros and cons as I see them.

1) MBH|MPistols|Rifles 0/1/0/0

- Great Ranged/Melee Defense

- Speed is good

- 2 delay shots

- Basic ranged snare

- Adv. ranged root

-2 goodKD shots

- 2 AOE shots

- Action and Damge debuff shots

- Great state attacks

- Can cover up

- Accuracy Suffers

- Have to fight in saber throw range

2) MBH|MCarb|Rifles 0/1/0/0

- Good accuracy with both carb & rifle

- Decent defenses

- 2 very high dmg shots (imp leg & adv crit)

- 3 ranged snares

- 2 ranged KDs, 1 melee KD

- Decent state shots

- Can cover up

- Lots of AOE goodness

- Can stay out of saber range

- No roots or delays

- Speed is OK, not great

3) MBH|MRifles|Pistols 0/0/0/1

- Great accuracy & speed w/Rifles

- 1 delay shot

- Conceal/Sniper shot

- 2 OK KDs

- Good ranged snare

- Decent state shots

- 1 ranged root

- 1 AOE shot

- Can fight outside saber range

- Defenses suffer

I'm leaning towards 1 or 2. 3 seems to suffer in my mind because, as a rifles specialist hunting jedi, the only way to balance out your decreased defenses is to keep your targets at bay. You may be able to get off a couple of conceal shots before the find you, but after that, it's going to be hard to keep them away with only 1 ranged snare and 1 ranged KD.

The pistol template is very attractive to me because it allows you to take pretty much any tactic you want to take, other than staying out of range. The fact that you have to fight in saber range can probably bebalanced by the fact that you have action and damage debuffs (burst shot and intimdate shot) and good defenses. Plus, having 2 delay shots will let you heal up if you need it, or run away if the fight gets tough. The problem, it seems to me, is that there are almost TOO MANY possibilities, which could make managing combat difficult.

I guess that means I'm leaning towards MBH/carbineer. You have 3 knockdown attacks and three snare attacks, which probably makes up for the lack of a root or delay. These will let you keep your targets at bay and slow them down if they try to run.You accuracy, speed and defenses aren't off the charts, but they are very acceptable. The kicker, of course, is that you have the two highest damage shots in the game, which will probably be a must for taking down high level jedi.

Any thoughts from the people who have tried these and similar templates? Remember, I'm handicapped by having 24 points in FS skills.

After switching around multiple times between Carbineer and Rifleman - the best combination and what im sticking with seems to be:

MBH/MRifleman/Pistoleer 0-4-0-4

This gives you great damage of rifleman, the defense of the pistoleer tree, and the stopping shot in pistoleer - which gives you time for sniper shot from a distance and a couple other specials.

I cant imagine switching from this.

A shame too - because carbines are my favorite weapon - but their specials are just SO weak.

Improved leg hit and adv critical shot have the exact same damage.

Ok gents check out this for my unique template, I dont know of anyone else who has it

MBH and Master Force Defender Force Healer 1000 The hunted has become the hunter.......

Ranged Defence without attachments is 355

Melee Defence is 350.

zero skill points remaining

little weak in the firepower department but im sure ill find a decent scatter pistol eventually.....

And I forgot to add I dont wear armour only bio clothes, my defence is awesome with Force Aura and Bh Stances both activated, Ill tell you all how it pans out in a week or so after ive tried a few marks....

Force infusion and avoide incap are also very handy and with 3100 force i dont need channel as i hardly touch my force

BRING IT!

Yes that is similiar to what I have now but the CM tree is a waste! I would focus it into another combat prof. Because if you decide to grind out FS stuff with the more combat profs you hold the less trips to the village you make.

Could I get some feed back from someone who has tried MBH/Mcarb/CM 1002

What I want to know is, how well does the improved bacta toss heal and does the action regen reducer make enough difference to be worth it?

Wow, I am impressed that is the best setup I heard of yet. But be aware young bounty hunters that Jedi are cheating, they are using some kind of macro that I haven't figured out yet because myself and another BH both at CL 80 were using alternating fire on a jedi and timing it for the force heals. When all of sudden he was down to 1/8 health and it went full after a folley of 1500 damage strikes with a T-21 and carbineen fire. Something is not right I just can't put my finger on it. This has happened 3 times now!

I was thinking of trying M Ranger/M BH for the stealth skills of ranger.

Does the ranger camo ability (that says it works on players) give any benefit to BH hunting jedi? Does it allow you to sneak up on your mark without being visible on radar?

If anyone who has experience with Ranger stealh skills, let us know how it worked out for you.
