Thread: (TANKS) im banned from most citys
thats the problem with providing a link to ANY dev statement. A lot of people will read the quote out of context and spread it around. Honestly I read your quote and was scratching my head until i took a little time to read the entire thread.

TH does NOT say "both".
TH does NOT say that the current implementation of /cityban is griefing to use against a BH who is hunting you. When asked about that directly he clarifies that he was talking about something else entirely.

Yes it is a serious problem.
A serious problem of meglomania, you protest the fact that owners of a city can control who uses the services of said city, your complaining that people dislike the fact that you hunt fellow players.
No one is taking away your equipment, your xp, your time, your profession
Their just saying: "Don't use my shuttle that I paid for, that i placed, that is in my town to do it!"
Now its every individuals right to choose wether or not hunting someone in a city is a banneble offence, but i for one will not be supporting the thought that this choice can be taken away from them! You can drive from the closest shuttle or starport, its not a loss of functionality or gameplay for you! Only a few moments of driving
Its easy to cry "this is wrong! change it! it upsets me!", its much harder to face something you dislike and say "its yourright to think so, even though i think your wrong"
Oh ps i forgot, i've been saving this for an oppertunity just like this:
Real BH doesn't have friends and doesn't expect fair treatment when he's off to hurt other players! How often have you heard hitman cry over his drink "they wernt nice to me and helpfull!" and ofcourse i can't help but say:"There are to many BH's!" *giggles*

I would love to be able to ban entire guilds from the city! There is one guild in particular, well known for load killing Special Forces at starports. I think the entire guild is jedi as well. It would be so nice to ban them from our shuttle, which gets used a lot for krayt hunting (near the west dune sea).
It would also be nice to see vendors included in the city ban.
Add to that the ability to ban factions, please.

Got my first mark last night since they changed it to anonymous jedi.
Target on Lok so shuttled there. Launched seeker and got the target not on-line but still had a wp. for the mission.
Shuttled to the city and went tothe house that the w.p. was in.
Had someone follow me from the shuttleport yelling BH SCUM the whole time, then after I went into the house with no one inside it they kicked me out
So I went back to the shuttleport with them following me yelling the whole time, was weird since we were the only ones in the city.
So I figure it was their alt or something and they had justswitched right when I got to Lok.
Had my Warmaster tag up. I could have been a legitimate shopper I suppose .....
Was it a big wookie in full armor,I got the same thing on lok I forget what city but a wookie from the bw guild followed me around with a bh are scumbags macro running.I told him if it was ruining the guys time and he didnt want to fight I would drop the mission but no need to be an ass about it.I did drop the mission because im not rp'ing yet and wouldnt get a kick out of fighting someone who would not want to fight,I know not very bh of me but its how I feel.After I dropped the mission and explained that I wasnt there to ruin anyones time he was still rude.He asked why I would pull a low lvl mission,I then explained to him I just got my ass handed to me by 3 knights in a row and that we cant pick and chose the level anymore and the guy was still an ass,but I didnt get banned form the city.
I pulled 3 jedi missions from the same guild and city inless then an hourand never got banned from the city.I imagiane its hard to get banned from a city if you act grown.I do plan on rp'ing sometime so mr. nice guy will cease and I may get a few bans but thats just the way it is.The people spend a lot of time and money on building a city and is thier right. If you rp you should know that bh keep contacts with poeple close to the jedi scum and will do them favors to keep the intel coming,so rp that into why you dont hunt guild mates.
