Had a CSR respond to me said the Devs know about the problem and are working on making our missions more stable..There is no ETA on this fix if it was like the old Targets pre publish 9 then grab a chair we will be here awile.

Earlier someone posted on how to work around the white cons, I just had one myselfand tried his idea and it works. The next time you get a white con - you need to go combatant. When you stroll up to them the ? flashes over their head and they turn yellow to you and start attacking.

I've wondered if that might be the answer after all - when I did the Dark Jedi's mission to kill the Padawan I was on leave and the guy was unattackable - once I went combatant all was well.

Of course, that indicates to me that the now-defunct factional system for marks is still in place - and that instead of just affecting useless factions like Cobral and Monumenters, it apparently assigns GCW factions to the occasional mark.

So what's to happen if/when the mark is on the same side as you? Will this still work?

Fun Fun Fun. My first mission last night was a white conned npc. I launched a seeker to id target to make sure it was my mark. It was and I could not attack my target. Ah the joys of reliving the bugged investigate missions. My second mission was a copper mark. I killed itand opened the loot window saw three items and it immediately closed saying the container was no longer available. The body was gone. No loot received. My third mission I killed my mark who was on the river banks in a city behind the retaining wall . I could not get to body. By the time I found a path to the body the body was gone. Ah the joys of Bountyism. My fourth mission last night was you guessed it a white conned mob that I could not attack.

I get a bunch of these... ether nothing there or there white..

I'm not a BH, I'm a MCH/Master Pistoleer.

But I ran into a white BH mark E of Keren on Naboo/Ahazi the other day.

AND IT OPENED FIRE ON ME.

It was a level 81 double elite. I strongly suspect that I've got some faction issue that the BH mark took exception to (perhaps he was Nyax or Lok Mercenary aligned, those guys hate me) but he attacked me and I was unable to attack back...he REMAINED white to me...I'm not a BH (used to be) and was obviously not prepared to take him on. He incapped me twice then gave up, fortunately. Oh, and I was rebel combatant at the time (on some damn fool idealistic crusade for that Skywalker kid) that may have done it as per the workaround mentioned above.

Needless to say, this is a problem.
