Thread: Publish 21- White Conned Marks

Out of 20 or so (on Ahazi):



One White con. It was on Naboo 'bout 500m from the starport away from Keren. Mob became visible, then the WP shifted INTO the Starport. Mob was 80-82. I forget. Mission reward was somewhere a hair over 30k. ( Deleted mission and moved on before I found this thread.)



20% of the missions either have the Mob inside a building, or one was even inside a tree and it couldn't see me, and I couldn't ever get it's attention. No LOS = useless. Deleted and moved on. If they don't have either of the above, they fail to spawn at all. Happens on Dathomir, Tattooine, Correlia, Naboo, and, Talus. I haven't had a mission yet on another planet not named to see if they're buged also.


The thing that gets me, is the stupid game shifts the WP sometimes over 2k to move it inside an object when it could've chosen many other locations that are clear. It's moved it from 4k out of a city to inside the starport I port in at. The only good it has is that I don't have to drive 4k to see that the mob's borked before abandoning it; now I just spend 5 minutes trying to attack it inside the wall 25m behind me.

the two times i had this happen, both marks were within 3m of a player structure, in a player city. not sure if it's a coincidence or not. sry, don't remember wp/nfo on mark.

I forgot to write down WP's to the bugged marks, but I did /bug all of them in game with details about each..


I thought I would provide a quick rundown of my experiences since this patch.. Below are some totals I've collected. My character is a MBH on the Scylla server.

Bugged = 8

1x Spawned inside building (guild hall in Bela Vistal) (/bug'd in game)
1x Spawned inside a harvester. (/bug'd in game)
2x Mission Incomplete do to the water on Yavin
2x White dot, could not attack (/bug'd in game)
1x Doubt Marks Spawned
1x Turned un-attackable mid combat, then switched back. Finished him off but he had no loot, not even credits. (forgot to /bug in game)


Total Marks Looted = 94


Speeders Lost = 1


Screwed out of loot = 1 (The mark de-spawned in about 10 seconds, didn't get a chance to loot him)

I figured 100 was a good round number for figuring percentages. So, I had a total of 8% of my marks "bugged" in general and only 4% could not be attacked at all.


Scylla does not have near the player city and player structures that some other servers have, so I'm sure that might have added to my luck when others seem to be having a lot more issues than I do.


All of these missions were pulled from the BH terminals in Dearic (Talus), and every mission was completed to the end. I did not abort a single mission because it was way out there, I ran all of them to try and geta fair judgement of all missions.


Oh, out of these missions I ran across many marks with single and double cheveron's, but all of them seemed about the same difficulty. Around 7-19k ham and hit for around 350-400 points of damage or so. I did encouter about 6 or 8 guys which usually had either single cheverons or none at all, they had 30k+ ham and hit for around 550-650 damage per hit or so. Found it odd that a "normal" level 81 would hit for 2x what a double cheveron "elite" level 82 hit for. Dunno if that's a bug or not.


I had one mark that had no loot at all on him, the rest had between 1 and 4 items on them each. My toon has Luck +4, I have no idea if this effects my ability to loot or not, I think only the developers know that.. lol..

Happened to me the day before yesterday. I kinda figured it was because the mark was currently fighting another NPC (rebel guard). It was quite a long fight between the two NPC's, but while I was standing there considering my options, my mark was killed by the guard. I couldn't loot him, but at least I got the bounty


NPC location: Anchorhead
NPC level, species, bounty amount: Mission level 38 or 39. Think it was a zabrak... Guessing the bounty was 8000+
Planet: Tatooine
Galaxy: Ahazi
Time of the day (PST) and date: 8 aug

  • Had 2 successful NPC bounties prior to that and the only thing I did different was get an entertainer buff once I arrived in MO just before I hopped on my bike to head to the mission.

    Work Around Found!!!


    Earlier someone posted on how to work around the white cons, I just had one myselfand tried his idea and it works. The next time you get a white con - you need to go combatant. When you stroll up to them the ? flashes over their head and they turn yellow to you and start attacking.
