I hope they fix the current sploit while they are at it ... whenever I cloak for the first time after logging in I can attack (and be attacked by npcs) and if I were of a mind to I could easily go whack someone with it on.

If they do, it makes complete sense.


Just imagine, a jedi in a house knocking over pots and pans, or running through the desert kicking up dust as he tries to run from my swoop... i'm goign ot know where he is.....

the description of cloak says that the jedi uses the force to invade the targets mind to make him unaware of the jedi.... the jedi doesn't become invisible. he doesn't bend light rays around his body.... you would hear the pots and pans knocked over, you would see the desert kicking up dust...and you'd also see the jedi.... the effect is that your mind is altered so you wouldn't equate any of this sensory experience to the jedi's presence.

Yes. Now, you can cloak with group members near you (within 20m). Also, no one can /target you while you're cloaked. Thats it.

ok sweet so they didnt make it so it brakes when u get to close to someone thats what i was told but it was froma non jedi so i didnt no

A poorly written Patch notes confused alot of people and started rumors like wildfire.


I was unaware of the group members change tho, will test it out to make sure for my self. I actually did cloak rather close to group last night, but shrugged it off to lag lol. They did fix the /target issue/exploit but have done nothing with the shadows, so they can still follow you around if they see your shadow.


I have heard alot about /examine but I dont see a problem with it...yet, as all it does is open your bio. No big deal to me but others are more sensitive. With the range of /examine (i think like 100-150m-ish) I'm not worried that they know I'm in the area.

Shouldnt be able to activate it while in combat. They should impliment that.

umm how bout not? the reason we cloak is to escape combat or innitiate it sneakily

LOL, mostly it's used for the Light Side Track Star's of Tempest.

But even when i had cloak, yeah i loved it but alway's thought that it was just crazy that i could run 20meter's away and leave the fight whenever i felt like it. Should be used for sneaking around or first hit pvp tactic's, not the "dang i suck in pvp and need to run off button".

There is now a bug where you can /follow *name* a cloaked person....


Also.. Ragen.. Would cloak being moved to master powers make you feel better?

no, it's fine right were it is. but being able to cloak while in combat and leave the fight whenever you feel like it shouldnt be in game.
