About 600 damage for the smaller ones, used one last night. The bigger ones I don't know.

they do a bit of dmg, if you get their health a lit low then hit a droid with a adv critical it can do good dmg really fast. droids alone don't do much anymore though. to use a droid, call it from inventory (or datapad). program it to follow other, then tell it to follow your mark. you have to be pretty close to use the radial menu to detonate it though (unless i don't know of some command). count down starts and boom.
macro or type /detonatedroid i think. don't remember the command exactly, i just hit the macro i named "bomb" and BOOM!!

57-59 are the best possible, they should be sold as R2 droids i think

Yeah I usually seem them in the RX series
But a long time ago Bomb Droid were the little mouse droids, which I consider far more discrete.
What happened to that?

I just recently reached level 80. I am MBH, MM, MR, and pistols 0003. I have just started taking jedi missions and i was wonder about the bomb droids. How they work. What kind of damage the put out. How to use them. Any input?

make sure the bomb droid is GROUPED with you or else it will not damage your opponent. when you click on them or use the tilde or tilda key "`" you should see a detonate droid command.
best idea that i have for you is to have the droid prepared before you attack. namely: ready droid unit then program the commands for group and follow target. when you reach your destination, pull it out, group it, command it to follow target and ultimately detonate droid.
i hope that helps.

Look them up on a vendor search under Droid Deeds. Power 54's hit for approximately 1k, and power 34's hit for about 600. They can be interesting, but tough to get the right situation.

In my opinion, bomb droids are useless. If you tell them to chase someone, they'll hang far enough back that the target is actually outside the blast radius. So, unless your target doubles back toward the droid, they're really not worth it. I need to ask the DE correspondent about this.
