True but he has to prioritize the TOP 5! He had to make 5 and no more.


Basically what has come to now is Tanks puts up what he ALONE believes is the top 5 and nothing more.


Also this DB timer is a problem ALL professions are having.


So does this automatically mean it's a non issue? Whats your point here?

Personally, I would like to see /offerride as Public Enemy No. 1. I consider my personal crusade to get rid of it.

A question/suggestion on this Tanks - Why not base the CL of the Mark (and perhaps its associated payout) on a Green toRed scale? For each mission level the Payout of that mission would be related tohow theMarkwould con to us. That way a CL 80 Bounty Hunter just starting up the INV line would always face someone they would have to exert effort into beating, while someone working up the trees from scratch would be able to face someone within their class of profeiciency. This might also be applicable to Jedi Bounties, but that is secondary to the NPC system.






Not to mention they could at a fouth level at the mastery box, granting npc mission that would require a group of bh's to take them down. With a suitable pay out.


Duelist stance, real problem 25 points, ok I am using the proton Carbine, My damage from it using adv leg sthot is 1600+ My dps is bout 500 give or take. and yet I am only seeing 25 points? Most armor snufs that on NPCs' (This was painfully obvious while doing the Weapons speed quest on dath for the FS villa.)


Then there is the time on it. Unless my eyes are lying to me, it goes down as fast as it goes up, and I don't even move... If it's supposed to be our -tanking- feature, it's a joke.


I get more tanking out of the improved area fire, (Though the massive argo is a pain....)


BTW If you are the Ryyyk trail, area fire on the bridges is sweet if you have a doc backing you up. (Though you prolly don't need it due to the fu-baredcon system now.)

What about getting rid of those system messages to the jedi that let the know "your coming". All they do is log out when they see it. Where in the movies did a BH send the jedi a courtesy call saying "get ready i'm coming to get you!".

Well, while I would say it is a tad unfair, and makes it difficult for us BH to maintain the element of surprise, the Jedi ARE supposed to be able to use the Force for Knowledge, amoung other things. It does seem partially appropriate that a Jedi can Sense danger about to happen, kinda like Obi Wan and Anakin could sense the critters in Padme's room in AOTC.


Come to think about it, what movie did we EVER see a Bounty Hunter actually HUNTING a Jedi. We see them hunting Smugglers andPoliticians, but the only person we see hunting a Jedi is Darth Maul. Yeah, we see Boba Fett shooting at Luke in Bespin, and we see Jango fighting Obi Wan, but in both cases, the Fett's purpose for fighting the Jedi was not due to a Contract.


What skill gives the Jedi player the system message - is is all Padawans, or is it a certain Combat Level, or is it a particular skill in a skill tree? I don't think every single JEdu should get a system message, but I can see Knights, or maybe CL75 or something getting that Force Sense, or whatever.. If it is somethng that every Padawan is getting, then I think that would be inappropriate.

I just want to say that I am a MBH and I think that the 'lockout' on people helping jedi is complete BS.


At the least, overt rebel faction members should be able to assist them.

How hard can it possibly be to fix this BH Tef...... why do they keep this stuff broken like they do ?!?!?!?!?




Fought a jedi tonight for over 2 hours... could of been over alot sooner if not for this TEF... but my bounty ran back into his house 6 times tonight !!!! Every time his force got low, hed run back into his guild hall fully regen, come back out give it another go. This bug is just frustrating and aggravating both sides of the fight.

My point is this:

Complain about the DB timer (I hate it) in the combat forum, thats dedicated to the combat system.

If either you or the BH are neutral, or same faction the TEF does not stick.






Actually from lots of testing I have found out the tef sticks on Jedi 3-5% of the time.


95% of the time they can run into a house that we cannot.


My top issues:


1) Tef bug


2) Deathblow timer promotes triple incapping, with the jedi healing the way it is either the healing needs nerfed or the timer does, if I cannot double incap as soon as they stand I am dead.


3) We need a ranged CoB type abilty that works vs melee. Like a Duelist stance for use vs Jedi


4) Jedi defenses mitigate too much damage IMO. Without CoB we are outclassed.


5) We need an option on the terms to seperate npc and player missions.

Alrighty Tanks, here's my updated list of problems after almost a month of cu:


1- Our role as "tanks" is bull. We still cannot tank or take damage any better than anyone else. Possible solution would be to boost Duelist Stance up to something near TK's Center of Being or Defender Force Aura. As of now our so called added defenses just don't cut it for our new defined role as tankers.


2- Filters on the terminals. I'm so tired of tracking my marks just to find out that they are the same faction as me. I know some still hunt like faction jedi .. but that is just immoral to me. It would be nice if the terminals would show faction.


3- Confusion Shot and Eyeshot maybe on a good day stick only 25-50%. As improved specials these should have a much more reliable chance to stick, much like the way Underhand Shot is extremely reliable. While we're at it, it would be nice to know just what states do now exactly .. all I hear are rumors and uncertainty.


4- Bring back our Master level informant in Mos Eisley. He suddenly disappeared after the cu.


5- High detonation power bomb droids are only hitting for 800ish damage. They should be hitting much like they did pre cu and take that health bar down 3/4 easily. The cost to make and buy these droids should be worth the punch you get out of them.

With regards to #5.... my mse's at around 38 power seem to hit for more like 900'ish damage... and the 58 power r3's I have are hitting for 1400ish power. I'd like to see a top made maximum power det droid do around 2k'ish damage.

My personal top 5 issues.



1. BH Tef issues namely running into a house mid fight by the jedi.


2. Multi-passenger vehicle jedi escapes.


3. Combination Incap + DB timer problems. Unless your sitting right on top of your bounty and have your db key hotkeyed, and hit that key the second the mark goes down its unlikely you will be able to db them before they are able to get up, heal and run away again. One of these 2 concepts needs to go if not both. Neither were particuaarrly needed, wanted, or requested.


4. BH terminals make it entirely too difficult to efficiently group up for bounties. Terminals need to be more user friendly.


5. Duelist stance is not potent enough to be effective. I'd like to see the effect doubled from 150 def, to at least 300 def, and the timer raised to at least 45 seconds.
