Jedi missions have always been in the game.

No they weren't. They were added when Sabre TEF and perma-death were removed. When I started out on the path to mastering Jedi there were NO BH missions.

Things change in online games. Accept it or leave really. SOE does not owe you anything in this game, so if you don't like a change move on to a different game more to your liking.

This patch already means a Jedi cannot run even if they do not attack back, which is much more than BH's asked for. What exactly is going to make you happy?

As for Jedi in private houses when you take the mission, how is that different from now? That is not a huge issue, it's part of hunting. Shame a lot of BH's seem to focus on the "bounty" part of their title rather than the "hunter" part. We were reduced to WP chasers long ago.

Has anyone every noticed that if you read the entire first page of a multipaged post and then go to the last page, the topic of conversion is usually nothing to do with what the thread was originally created for.

That being said. I like the term changes. I am an imp but I dont care which side a jedi is on. I am in it for the RPing and the rush. Jedi are all guilty of crimes against the republic and now the empire(cep for people on my friends list or guild). I just hope I dont hunt my friends now since its totally anonymous. Since Im on a small server, I know I will eventually be wasting an hour or so hunting someone I dont want to hunt.

I really hope we hear an update on this soon. I'd like to know how they are going to address or ignore issues like droids not working on Kashyyk.

No decay + uber loot = /spit on crafters

Fix the economy and give crafters their $$$ worth... give us real revamp.

Remember... to Cancel you have to go to Register Expansion in the Launchpad.

Just stop trying to fix a bad system and take it out of the game entirely.

BH's should never have been able to hunt jedi from the beginning, its bad for the game (granted with perma death having been on the slate you lost out easily on half a million subscribers), now its even worse, just get rid of it. The experiment failed, give up. Not that anyone with any experience didn't realize it was going to fail from the outset but we all have to learn somewhere.

BH's hunting jedi is griefing, thats the only purpose to it. The BH has nothing to lose, the jedi can only lose. This was idiotic enough to have implemented in a game when everyone ran around solo, now with grouping being viable a BH shows up and attacks a group mate the rest of us need to stand around till its over.

Just get rid of it entirely. Don't try and fix a bad system. Don't try and make it less stupid, don't try and iron out any technical issues and see if that 'makes it better' its a bad idea. get rid of it. And whomever thought of it in the first place, fire them and only give them a good recommendation if they apply to work at EA sports in china.

This game no longer has the luxury of catering to griefers the way it did pre wow, EQ2 and guildwars. It shouldn't have then because it wiped out from a getgo a huge possible chunk of the playerbase, but now you need to salvage whats left, which is the more pressing concern. Cut out the forced PVP on jedi, stick on a new graphics engine like the one EQ2 has (good scalable, try and keep compatibility with non T&L video cards), fix the interface, add 3 new ships, move the timeline post episode 6 so you have more leeway with the story, launch it all as an expansion, get the geeks. Star wars had 40 million people see it, (in north america), Sony would be lucky if it managed to sell 400k copies of the game, yet wow manages what is growing to 3 million people.

And having a profession that is, supposedly, 1.5x better than any regualr lvl 80 player can be is good for the game? Its never good for any game to have one profession or class thats so far above the rest. And yes yes I know full template jedi have been beaten by a single regular player before. But chances are that jedi isn't a good player and would have been beaten no matter what profession they were. Some people are just better players then others. How many people playing jedi would still be playing swg if they couldn't be a jedi? Got to cater to the wannabe's I guess.

The patch notes that were put up were only partial, so you missed a few of them. For clarity's sake until pub 20 is pushed to Test. Names will now translate into "Rebel Jedi", "Imperial Jedi", "Neutral Jedi". Missions will only be generated if the target is online at the time, this doesnt guarantee they dont log for dinner, etc. At least you know they are online at the time of mission generation. There is also a fairly significant one in there were once the BH attacks(even if the Jedi doesn't fight back), the TEF flag is set and prevents Jedi from doing things that TEF's prevent, like entering houses.

I wonder how many times we will pull the mission for the same cantina sitting Jedi?

Don't forget the same kashyyyk grinding jedi too.

Once this new Nerf 20 hits no one is safe from BH's. Why do any of us bother with these "lists" of non-huntables anyway. All the Jedi do is complain and whine about how hard it is to get Jedi...you know with afk grinding on the safe haven of Kashyyk or the double exp SOE keeps offering up to them. They whine that we have all the advantages yet this just isn't the case. I call for every BH on every server to finally do exactlly what we were meant to do. Take out every enemy of the Empire, be they friend in real life who plays, a guildmate or a factioned Jedi. Forget them. SOEwants this otherwise Nerf 20 would not be occuring.

-Hey SOE, here's a novel idea. Instead of trying to get new customers to replace the lost ones. Try fixing the bugs so you get new customers and KEEP the old ones too! Next time you delete a post that puts SOE in a bad light, think about giving us reasons to put you in a good light instead. ...you see when someone buys the game it means they want to like it. When they cancel an account it means you made someone who liked the game dislike it. How's that good business again?
Where does a 90% drop is customer base equal good business? SOE
