Thread: FEEDBACK: Jedi (Player Bounty) Missions Being Moved to Master Box

So does this mean that only Jedi who are currently logged on will be on the terms? If we do not know the names how do we determine without going thru the process of finding the imformat just to find that the Jedi is in kindergarden that day ?
All it means is you will receive the name of your mark downline from the process (either after accepting the mission or at the Spynet Op). It ensures that the concept of the profession (to track down/hunt your mark) is operating as expected.

No problem at all. Will probably cut whining on the BH board by 50%
ie. 'I respecced to Invest 3 and can't pwn Jedi - wah!'
No one is reading the thread at this point but...
I'm not sure why you think a full template cannot be soloed. It takes a GOOD player to be able to beat them. We are not invincible. Many Jedi have the PVP skills of a rock and without the former rate of healing if you have your stuff together you will be able to beat them. There are some BH that I have NEVER beaten. EVER even as I have increased in strength/level. You will run into this too its part of the game. Ask yourself this, have you tried to take on a full template before? If so did you use your first strike advantage? Since a full template is less likely to be mindlessly hitting the lair/creature while grinding you have to account for that. Even when jedi could heal at the former rate we died. Because YOU still choose when to attack. Use that and your skills. Its closer to 1 v 1 than you think...

First, the creationg of a MBH mission terminal. Allow players with INV III to accept "player bounties" at regular BH missions terminals, however, with the suggested limitations. No Jedi name, no payout listed. The MBH terminals will AT LEAST have a random generated "pay out". The mission MAY be for a level 56 Jedi, BUT payout 200K. At the same time, a pay out of 50K may have you chasing a FRS ranked Jedi. Furthermore, each pay out is individual to each MBH, thus making it impossible for MBHs to even get the same mission with the same payout.
Targeting is "vital" to the BH profession. With so many Jedi grinding in large MOB areas, to cycle through ALL targets will destroy our overrated, yet coveted, "first strike" ability. As a MBH approaches the Jedi, at 2,000 meters, the name SHOULD be shown in a system message. In order to "get preped" for the assult, or defer, and decide to attack at a latter time.

This first paragraph sounds like a good idea. The second paragraph? If anyone should get a system message, it should be jedi, after all the force surrounds us all, right?

1) How are we supposed to "Choose" when to attack when our marks are always on Kashyyk. Kind of ruins the element of surprise when your the guy running across the bridge with a herd of critters on your tail. Either that or wait a week to attack your mark who is either full template, or close by then.
2) How many of your opponents that you NEVER beat were Master BH?.
Im willing to bet they were BH Dabblers.
As far as kashyyyk goes I don't really have an opinion. You know I'm there and there are only 6 instances if I choose to grind there at the time. I guess you are the type of BH that burst runs in full throttle and unloads on a guy. I've found that if the jedi survives the first 10 seconds most of these people don't know what to do when they are actually attacked back but I'm sure you don't have that problem. Even on kash you choose when to attack and you don't have to run across the bridge and let yourself be seen
you can go around and kill the spiders yourself then attack at your leisure. Or bring a group to work your way down. Lots of things that can be done and I've been killed there while ATK because I won't run to the LOS spot unless you do.
I don't know the exact templates of the people I've never beaten but I can tell you this. If the devs know for sure what 45%? not sure of your skill points will be in the profession can be balanced easier for this. Its almost impossible to balance two types of players that between them have a huge number of possible templates. And from the whole CU and the master box returning to significance this only makes sense.

On-topic: I fully agree with moving PC bounty missions to master BH level. That makes sense to me. However, if BH dabblers are not allowed anymore, then Jedi dabblers shouldn't be allowed anymore either. I remember I got owned by a CL80 padawan, who used his BH skills to kill me and prolly some CM healing skills too. If you choose the Jedi path, you should grind from start (ie, CL 1) and not get any visibility till you reach mid-template (CL 40+). I know I'll get flamed for this, but I don't see how logical it is to get owned by a 60k bounty and to be able to wipe clean a 120+ k one...
Off-topic (though still related): I wonder why some people posted Jedi issues in this thread, the usual whining and trolling about how Jedi life is difficult... Wake up guys! You chose Jedi knowing what it implied. The devs told you how it would be and what is considered griefing or not. So if you don't want to be hunted, don't play Jedi.
The whole Jedi starting at CL 1, and not gaining vis untill a higer CL is actually a good idea. Cuts out the Dabblers on Both sides
I always wanted something meaningful for my MBH tag and now I've got it, the ability to hunt jedi.
In my humble opinion, this patch will sort out the men from the boys.
I would say maybe give BH's a little love in the defence or state department so we can effectively go 1v1 (by 1v1 I don't mean "i win" i mean 1v1 but it's gonna be a hard fight) againts our jedi opponents.
If we don't know the names of the jedi on the terminals, does this mean that they are going to help us with the kashyyyk situation. Meaning, if I don't know who I'm going to kill, how we are suppose to find them? I'm all for the MBH player bounty requirement, but, the terminal issue is one that is worse.
