I'm a Master Fencer/ 4440 doc debating between 0030 or 0002 pike, to be able to use a few DoTs I have.. the reasons I consider 0030 instead of going straight for the accuracy are the meager extra defenses it offers.. as well as an area kd, which would go great with my fencer area dizzy. The 0002 is obvious, the extra accuracy. So... any advice or suggestions are appreciated

This is melik and no, I like higher med use than disease cures which are useless for me, disease doesnt bother me.

I'm grinding up Master Commando/Master Pikeman with my new character - I'm really enjoying it as both profs are a lot of fun but I was aiming ultimately to do some PvP with this character and I think I might be a bit screwed with my low defenses; I have lower melee defense than my Master Rifleman (?) and a def vs KD of only +25. However having the ability to douse everyone in flame and then switch to a potential DOT AOE attack could be good.
I'll test it out and if I get hammered all the time I might go for Master Brawler/Pikman/Fencer & TKA 4304 which would give me a lot of high defenses. I really like Commando though

Allright guys, I need some template advice. I'm going Master Pike/Bounty Hunter 3000 with the FS melee speed.
Now my question is this....shout I take the BH carbine tree for the damage of it, or should I take the BH pistols tree and pistol technique 2 for the geo?
Again, this is for general jedi killing and some possible pvp and I don't necessarily want to be uber with stun damage. Thanks!

Well my old template with Lonestar before I went swordsman was.... Master Brawler/Master Pikeman/Master Fencer...

Old pikemen template. Doctor 4030. Master Pikemen. TK 4003.
Pros: Able cures states,poisoins, fire, diseases.
Cons. Low defense. Can be a riflemen's target.
Current Template. Master Pikeman/Master Brawler/Master fencer/nov med.
Pros- Able to put every state on. Fencer dodge to run from riflemen. Stun baton to take melee since a real high end damage pike doesnt seem to get past armor.
Cons- Able to get doted and intimed and do nothing but run to a doc friend.
Thinking of this template....
Master Swordsman/Master Pikeman/TK 4003. Nov med. Rest into FS melee speed
I'm a speed capped pikemen right now, but 2h is deadly and one my old templates.
Pros- Able to kd dizzy stun then able to pull a power hammer out and hit mind at near speed cap.
Cons- Lower defense, but still able to survive. Dots also a major problem.

The template I am currently working on is geared almost solely to pvp, but any input is very welcome:
TKM
Master Pikes
Master Brawler
Fencer 2440
With FS melee speed +12
It actually uses all 250 sk points

Master Pikeman
Master Fencer
Medic 2040
TKA 4200
(Defenses: Give or take; )
Polearm Toughness +31
Block +115
Melee Defense +104
Ranged Defense +94
Def vs Blind +60
Def vs Dizzy +80
Def vs Knockdown +70
Def vs Posture Down +80
Def vs Stun +50
Def vs Intimidate +20
Leaving me with 1 precious point to spend elsewhere. Since Mastering Pikeman a few days ago (woot woot, thanks to everyone that was at the "cerimony" last night at Deeja Falls) I am reconsidering the template, and what I really want to do with my character. I'll probably end up not taking the TKA tree and instead mastering Brawler for the bonus speed, and then working it out so I can get a little FS Speed. I'm going all out pikes, the Fencer is there mostly for defenses and PvE; and everything else is just to give me an edge.

Master Pike/ Master Fencer/ M brawler/ TK4303/FS combat prowess 0003...its so awesome...ive tried tons of templates and this one works really well for me

Thats pretty good ....except if your goign to pvp you might want to drop some oftk and master brawler

My Favorite and IMHO the best pike templatewould be
Master Pikeman <------- To stick my mind fire and mind poisen dot weps as well as dizzy kd
Combat medic 0 0 0 4 <----------For throwing high level poisens
Doc 4 0 3 0 <-----------Healing fire/poisen/disease + states
