Abig part of jedi players enjoy annoying BHs with house/spacehiding and thats whats unhealthy for this game. The jedi overpopualtion is unhealthy for this game. I have sen it rip apart guilds, player towns, the GCW causing unbalance to the game.

If jedis keep annoying BHs they will respond to that. One way is to use vis attacks against jedi groups that grind openly close to big cities or outposts.

We all know one of the major features with being jedi is getting hunted by BHs and that wont go away. It's better to live by the rules, not annoying, not cheating and take the fights as a good sport. But if we keep ending up with players that deliberatly annoyes and ruins the game for us, then BHs will start usingannoying methods back at the annoyers. It's a sad and unhealthy spin to it, which I can guarantee none of us wants to experiance.

So, logoff if you arent playing. Be a good sport.

Umm just out of curiousity which rules are these since I have yet to see them and as a BH wouldn't mind knowing these holy set of rules.

I've read the topic, and I've already knew what's this all about. lol I didn't have patience to read all posts here, but I've read the first 7-8, and it was enough. Well, I think it's so ridiculous how some BH want easy money by killin' AFK jedi at all costs (lock pick to enter into an AFK(!) jedi's OWN house)... I think BH crying for this are the same who got a 5 ppl grp before the terminals changed and ganked 50k padawans I want to ask every BH who whine about this to leave the BH community (or SWG) and don't ruin the BH's respect further. Thx.

P.S.: If u grinded out BH (and U're not a respec BH n00b ) then u prolly know, that there are some bugged NPC missions (aftr 5km swoop the target is in a tree, inside a wall, etc. etc.)... Consider those missions like AFK jedi who sitting in their house. Or more like, consider AFK jedi sitting in their house as a bugged missions, and take another mission. Simple as s.itting in your pants

Again...learn to be a jedi...and you should have no problems with intruders. You went jedi of free will. Thats your 14.99. You accepted to be hunted.

You might actually also learn how to pvp..then you should not need that 5k damage detection device at your door.

The only reason you want to be AFK in your house is to annoy BHs. Thats not a good reason. You can as well logoff if your not at home playing.

hehe im a jedi, im quite aware of the bh/jedi relatioship, pvp is no mystery to me, im not afriad of any bh.

do i think you should get access to my house?

HELL NO

there is only so much you can push the point that jedi are your content buddy, if i need to go afk for a sec i should be able to, and a private house is the best way to do this. and as a previous poster pointed out as you claim jedi know what they got into when they became jedi, well you know what you got into when you became bh, and it definatley wasnt breaking into my private house to kill me lol. you are welcome to give me shot anytime ingame but i wont agree ever that you should have access to my house

straight to the point. most intelligent people who take a profession understand the pros and cons to it. it sounds like you, jargal, just jumped on the bh bandwagon because it was the cool thing to do. does it upset you when your npc mark has spawned inside a tree, or a player house (i guess you would call that gamebreaking too)? this is the life of a bh, freakin deal with it.

I think the space thing you came up with is an interesting concept. As far as the house hiding it is annoying but it is something we MBH's should accept given it is part of being a BH. As far as XP loss I do not think it is fair for jedi to lose so much xp given they have to maintain a certain amount just to be jedi as well as a certain amount to make rank and maintain that rank. As annoying as the jedi hiding and other tricks are there are pros and cons to everything and without them life in SOE wouldn't be interesting anymore. Personally I used to lie in wait for the jedi to come back on for hours sometimes whether or not I could kill him while he was offline because it made it interesting. If the kill was too easy I would lose my interest in the profession. I however do not like the fact that the terminals have changed the way they did but that is because of a few that have given our profession a bad name. I have several jedi friends that I have hunted and because I was professional about it I am friends with them. I am not perfect however as I have hunted people in the past because of one reason or another and used dirty tactics which resulted in a jedi death, it was however for payback for similar circumstances. On the complaint side things do need to be fixed but do not get defensive or rude about it just simply say your peace and move onto the next subject. Everyone has an opinion and is entitled to it providing it is without violent and aggressive tendency. If more people had compassion and honor in America, we wouldn't have as many problems as we are having. That's about all I have to say about the subject and I hope you have a nice day to all.

Thats all fine and dandy but me being a level 60 pady with onlylevel 80 BH's hunting me, there is no other possible outcome than me loosing xp.

I will try and run everytime I can, and if you come camp my house I will just log an alt in for a bit.

Thats my 2 cents.

If the BH is a Master pilot and has first strike he will one shot kill his mark 99% of the time with asolutely no danger. PvP in Space is a waste of time- its all about who gets first shot.

This is an issue with space PVP in general, not with the idea of BH/Jedi space hunting. Doesn't mean that BH missions should not extend into the space arena.

ermm that doesn't sound that balanced if by your own admission space pvp is borked atm, if they got rid of the 1 hit kills then fair enough but until that time it would be totally unfair on the Jedi as they would have no chance of fighting back or are you just looking for that advantage?

I'm a jedi, not a BH. I'm saying that IF a jedi chooses to go into space, the BH should be able to attack him in space. Whether or not space PVP is borked isn't really the issue.

removing xp loss isnt the solution. You all knew what you were getting into when you, of free will, went jedi. Instead jedi should learn to stay off the terms and understand that jedi is a hermit, solo profession. Or accept the consequeses of thier behavior.

Next plz?

When you went BH you knew it was possible to get an AFK mark because they are either had some RL stuff to take care or just wanted to annoy you.

I am an SOE customer, now only if they'd treat me as one...hell, I'd be happy if they treated me like a McDonald's customer.

Arguing with Jargal is like running a race in the Special Olympics. Even if you win you're still a retard.

And Jargal, the plural of Jedi is not jedis. It's Jedi.

Still no good arguments from jedi players why they shouldnt have the possibility to annoy BHs and ruin 5 of 6 missions in a row with AFK househiding. You all admit its ONLY to annoy BHs. (well, dont cry when I stalk you around to give you vis, its ONLY to annoy you ) Perhaps if you thought about it, you'd realise, that the whole BH thing is a pain in the butt for many Jedi. What was the quote, Oh yes "Game Breaking"biwan:

I know it must feel awful for all jedis that you have got nerfed and the only way to cause the slightes annoyment to BHsis by hiding in houses, but you have to realize that its your own fault your on the terms.

And if your on the terms, there should be no time for guildchatting/LS crafting/AFKdancing etc, etc.

Oh, and on a side note. The space hunting thing I do kinda like. There should be some kind of TEF on the jedi in space so that they can be attacked by the BH if he is a pilot.

No reason you shouldnt be able to give chase in a ship.

the space hunt wont be allowed unless you give the jedi force bonuses when flying. Otherwise, he's just a regular toon in space just like everyone else.

Why shouldn't he be a regular toon? Ever see a Jedi use any real force powers in space? Um, no....

Luke does in the film, ghost of Obi tells him to use the force!

So when do jedi get to shoot lightning from their ships?

/sarcasm off

Well, Obiwan talking to luke was more a /tell than a force power.
