/sarcasm on

And this pertains to what BH issue?

/sarcasm off

But I see your point, I think that SOE has always intended to offer some sort of transfer option, since they won't let us have more than one character per server at this point. I don't think there is much "development" behind it, so I can't see this option detracting resources away from the fixes we are asking for. A CSR will probably be able to do it.

Overheard during recent SOE board meeting:

"FIXES? ARE YOU CRAZY?</laugh>How's that going to put more money inour coffers? Now, charging people to change servers...sweeeeet"

Its a waste of time anyway, basically paying money to have your characters template and appearance cloned, no items no nothing. May as well just start a new character and regrind....

What is a Bounty Hunter????

by design they are assains for hire are they not?????

so when they do what they are designed to do is there abig uproar?

i cant figure out why taking a mark reguardless of the faction is cause for city bans and a faction player council accosting a guild leader?

the way the game stands gcw is a joke.

the war at hand is not faction vs faction but bh vs jedi.

to the credit of the jedi i have had marks on, all have had a good perspective of the game reb and imp alike. and for that i say thank you. they understand that the scales are loaded on one side. they understand that swg is a game. and they understand that bh is a profession in the game like jedi is. when i have taken marks for players in my own faction they have not ran and tatteled to there guild leader or a faction council. they must be the the select few that understand that bh hunt jedi by design. they must understand that by becoming jedi that you are a target of bh. they must also have the maturity to take it in stride if a (sadly outpowered by design) bh actually drops on of them.

to those of you that are jedi and understand that bh are part of the game again i thank you.

to the spoiled jedi that run crying to guild leaders and or councils, to those of you that want to boycot whole guilds because a bh form this guild killed a jedi in that guild. all i can say is BOOO. if your so scared to get a db drop jedi and become a crafter.

Erm could have something to do with the fact that if you are in say the marine's and you moonlight as a bounty hunter and track down and kill a colonel in the same unit you are going to get kicked out.

The person whining here is you, if you want to hunt same faction, go ahead, but expect to be citybanned, shopbanned and so on because its frowned upon by most of the playerbase.

You're using the wrong senario. If you were a Stormtrooper in Hitler's army, and you came to the realization that one of your ranks was a traitor, and took him out, would you be kicked out? ...Or promoted?

1rst rule of forum posting, the first one to mention hitler loses.

How do you know he was a traitor? mara jade and several other force sensitives worked for the emperor.

We lost ppl in our guild from this. Jedi whined to their guildleaders and then our guildleader whined a lot and then they threatened to boycott us and **edit**. Finally the BH´s involved jumped guild and one of them left the game in disgust.

Personally, I think one should hunt only those faction jedi that hang out with opposite faction jedi, or be a neutral BH and hunt everyone. In either case, whining to the guildleader for being put down is lame unless the 2 guilds are allied or something.

Oh yeah, and BH´s are not assassins for hire, as such. More like police for hire. Or that is how I see it. I mean, what´s the point of shooting them if they don´t resist? They smell too soon if you do, even if they are easier to transport.

If both guilds are rebel, and a rebel bh from guild A hunts a rebel jedi in guild b, then i would consider bans and boycots in a second simply because that entire guild are traitors to the rebellion by assosiation.

seriously, what do you expect? OMG you killed me/my friend here''s a free ubah sliced rifle and 2million credits? Get real, they want to take any measures they can to hamper you.

You pissed tehm off so you can't use/buy their stuff. It's that way in rl too. Infact i think some places even have signs explicitly stating they can refuse service to someone just because they can.

It's their choices as the manufactuerer or provider of their good to decide who gets to buy/use their sh!t, and they don't like you so you can't use their stuff.

If you were to fight a war.. say some thing like WW2, would you kill those that would help you win? I can bet if we killed all our Allies, right now Germany under the power of Hitler (or his successor) would be the world power.

I for one could not see a Rebel killing someone that was helping thier fight... it would just be crazy.

If you are an imp and want to claim "order 66".. you gotta be kidding me. The order was to kill the Jedi order and all Jedi. I don't think that a Dark Jedi is part of the Jedi order, nor is someone that is merely force sensitve.

Arguements could go on both ways, as stuborn as humans are.. we will not change our mind on our beliefs. So for now, Either Stop killing same faction or Accept the consiquences that comes with it... it is your game, play how you want.
