I wasted several hours time today Hunting AFK house sitting Jedi. Many of these Jedi are doing it on purpose to spite Bounty Hunters. This should not be part of this game. There is no way to prove someone is doing this but this is a form of harassment and can ruin game play like some exploits do for Bounty Hunter players wishing to find online Jedi to do PvP missions against.
I am not saying this should effect seeker or probe droids. I am not saying that this should effect the missions. I am not saying this should effect Spy Net Ops. I am saying that Jedi that are in private structures should not show on terminals.
This would effectively reduce the amount of times Bounty Hunters end up chasing an AFK Jedi to his house. This would not prevent a Jedi from going AFK in his house, after aBH takes his mission, but It would reduce how often bounty Hunters get missions to Jedi that intentionally leave their toons on line for spite.
If there is a way to code it so a Jedi that is inside a private structure for 10 minuets? is droped off terminals then do so please SOE. If you cannot put a timer on it then just remove Jedi in private structures from the terminals. When that Jedi moves outside then put him back on the terminal
Simple yet effective fix to this problem.
Thanks

That would cause more problems than it would solve. Then all a Jedi would have to do to loose a mission would be enter their house. I spend alot of time in and out several private houses, I would never get hunted.
Yes, Jedi go AFK in the houses overnight. But that's isn't harrassment, it's still the MBH that CHOOSES to take the missions and try and track a player. Plus, I've done FAR worse things to a BH before, lead them on and on, then suddenly let them catch me only to have them donate to my PvP score in less than a minute. I've made some BHers drop MBH doing this. Wasn't my plan, they just chose to. It can be very discouraging judging from the comments in their BIO.

The sa\me guy has been AFK for about 3 days, in a house, Ive pulled his mission about 7 times. Everytime it updates to Tatooine, I just drop the mission now =/

No Orthell it would not cause missions to drop. It would only remove house bound Jedi from terminals thus there would not be a mission created. You running inside and out of structures would be on and off the terminals as you do so. MEaning that if a BH picked your mission while you are outside then you would still get hunted.
This would simply reduce the AFK missions. thats all move along... BH's chosing to chase Jedi is part of the game. FInding Jedi AFK in a house overnight being "Game Content" is a result of a poorly built system.
It can be made better.

Uhm, isn't all of it a poorly built system? Lol. I think the only reason I am logging in my Jedi now is to keep my viz up. Too bad I'm grinding pilot skills, the BHers won't like that one.

I dont really mind you being in space as the Probe lets me know that and I can avoid wasting my play time.

There's only one Jedi on your server in Tatooine? It's always at least worth a look to see where they are.

After your rant about how players shouldn't be allowed to play their jedi toons for more than 8 hours a week, I think all your ideas are stupid without reading them.

Sorry man, im a BH and i have hunted lots of jedi. And i can't say i agree with you. Too bad if u wasted time. You dont HAVE to hunt them. They SHOULD be allowed to camp there as long as they want. Sorry man but they shouldn't change anything.
What you want it so Jedi are FORCED to fight? Come on man, get some patience or do the NPC missions, dont complaign on the forums about this stuff please.

Generally a guy running at him with a rifle, the MBH tag and buffs is a pretty clear indication.
