Hey, I'm working on MBH at the moment (non holo), and I was wondering how the BH state effects work.
With specials like confusion shot and spray shot causing stun, what does this negate?

Stun decreases their defensive mods, like melee and ranged defense. It's pretty useful.

with confusion you can knock a target down and watch them sprawl on their back, i think it also lowers their evade but not sure.

Hi all. I am releveling Fencer on Ahazi after having it on Bria awhile ago. I just had a few questions since I am a little rusty on this profession now. If I were to hit someone with intimidate more than one time, would it do any different then if I were to only hit them once with it? Same with blind, stun, dizzy. Thanks if you can answer.

I forgot to ask my main question... does it make the state last longer?

imtimadate seems too still stack when you use it. but stun/blind/dizzy all do not stack, once they wear off you have too apply it again.

So what is up with states now? It seems to me they are basically pointless. They seem to last like 20 seconds and I haven't noticed any real negative effects by having them on me or putting them on someone else. Poison, disease, bleed, and fire also seem pretty damn weak now too. Anyone think that they will up the potency of states and afflictions in the future, or do you think they will continue to be weak sauce and pointless?

I dont think root and stassis and choke are pointless states. There are many states now. Lets hope the days of first dizzy kd wins are over. States seem to have a great effect depending on the situation. Will the days of stupid combos come back, let's hope not. Will any states including poison be nuclear weapons like they were? Let's hope not.

Stats effects are pretty useful. and i see differences vs normal.
i know it's not jedi skills, but with a friend (we are both lvl 80), we can take Black suns lvl 88-89, making them:
Bleed, intimidate, Stun (really useful to lower regen rate), armor break... with those stats effect, pretty easy. but i can say we would have been dead if not using those...

I apply Stun+Dizzy on animals and they do 20%less damage on me.

Ok, so I read somewhere that Dizzy is supposed to Reduce Defense some and reduce Accuracy a little, and Blind is supposed to reduce Accuracy Some and reduce defense a little.
It seems to me that the states don't work. If you debuff an opponents defense, shouldn't they take take more damage per hit? I'm basing this on how Force Aura increases your Defense causing you to take less damage. I tested this last night on both powerful and weak creatures (lvl 79 Adolescent Krayt and lvl 15 Dewback) last night and Dizzy or not, the creature still took the same amount of damage.
Do you think they just mean Defense as in the ability for them to be hit? Or do you think they are just broken like Stun which is supposed to stop action regen but doesn't seem to.
