Just a note about Force Armor... one of the people that I was grouped up with last night noted that every time you get hit with force armor turned on, it drains your force. I didn't notice this till he pointed it out, but it certainly does.

As a technique when dueling Master Defenders, I began spamming /drainForce on them while I had my /forceArmor2 up and auto attacking them. Their force pool would drop pretty quickly while mine wouldn't go down at all even with them whacking away at me. Eventually they run out of force and their force armor no longer protects them.

When we were fighting Krayts I DEFINITELY noticed that when my pool was 0 armor no longer worked.

I assume this is also true with /forceShield and possibly even /forceAbsorb and /forceFeedback.

BTW, absorb and feedback are EXTREMLEY effective in countering someone using force powers of any sort on you. Coupled with /forceShield2, chokes and weakens did nearly nothing to me.

don't you just love how it drains all of you're force, then leaves you?

what a waste, that is the most useless skill in the enhancer tree.... not even worth the force.

Is enhancer worth mastering? I'm still trying to decide between enhancer and defender. Id imagine regain consciouness is pretty powerful.

Regain Consciousness is not what you think it is.

You die..(for real)...and it's pretty much the same as a doc rezing you, except you do it yourself.

Meaning you strip off all your buffs etc, and if something killed you buffed, chances are your doing to die again.

However it could be handy if you just dont feel like going to a force shrine and your willing to risk running around unbuffed.

I love force armor. Maybe your force pool isnt big enough or your biting off more than you can chew...

Has anyone done tests with/without Force Armor? This was actually next box that was going to get for some type of protection. I have a 4050 force pool atm. Would this armor not work as advertised or is it a liability to use it?

I use synthsteak first and Force Armor only if I'm fighting a mob and I get in trouble. I tend not to use it in PvP either unless I'm again in trouble - it is a nice extra layer of help for when you need it most

They provide additional 47 toughness (at FA2), drain force for each hit they take as well as the startup cost. It's nice, but expensive in force points if you're getting hit by Big Things.

I do beleive when you get hit it takes a massive chunk out of force pool.
