From today's Stratics House of Commons chat transcript:
"[17:47] *Anon4881* Many Bounty Hunters expressed concern with Revenge of the Wookiees, as Jedi targets could not be tracked via conventional means whilst on Kashyyk. Will Bounty Hunters be able to track Jedi marks on Mustafar using their seeker droids?
[17:47] *Anon4881* Bounty Hunters will be able to track their targets to Mustafar."

Note that he doesn't specifically say "with their droids". We can track jedi on Kashyyk, it just takes a while...

Well...I think the meaning is implied.

sounds like the operative word in that sentence is "to"
sounds like a typical brushoff reply.
currently, we can track our marks *to* Kashyyk just fine as well. I'll just wait util we hear a definitive "will be able to track *on* Mustafar, before I worry if my BH needs to bother chasing marks there, or my Jedi needs to bother keeping foods handy and paying attention while there. Not holding my breath

Anyone has the complete log for the chat please?
And yeah, I do think we will be able to hunt "the droids-way" on Mustafar...the BH community would never withstand ANOTHER save ground for the prey.

And let's not forgot that for all their fancy "it's a content planet, that's why you're not hunting them there!" when they removed droid tracking on Kash the entire track routine was buggy due to all the instances. They've already states Mustafar will not come with the same degree of instance-ness.
So basically, it comes down to when you want to believe they're conspirational: Either they really did remove droid tracking on Kash due to wanting jedi characters to be able to "experience content", and they're doing the same thing to Mustafar. Or - in my opinion the more likely option - the whole "experience the content" came into being after they realized they didn't want to spend time fixing the droid tracking code to work in the highly instances environment of Kash, in which case there's no reason to disable droid tracking on Mustafar.

if the new expanision is instances you can bet its goin to be like kash. if its not well you know.
instancs make it impossible to track players because instances messes up the wp system

Mustafar will not be instanced as much as kash, but it will still be another strictly quest planet as long as SOE can keep it from becoming a grind hotspot.
Barringa change to visibility (allowing Jedi to kill questNPC's without vis?), I sense a major disturbance in SWG if any BH can ruinan entire group's carefully planned assault on "big boss A" by opening up on one of their tanks. That would be an idea so bad for this game I have a feeling we are going to see it in action.

Same can happen on any other planet. We do not need another safezone for jedi... It's the right decision.
