Thread: is it just me or are all the jedi on mustafar/kashyyyk?

well i dont have either of expansions so I can't fallow them to mustafar. last 25 missions none were on regular planets hmmmm

I personally think it's the best one they've released, although JTL is a close second.

JTL was enough for me, too many ppl say ToOW sux so why should i get it. personally i think they shouldnt push content like this on, when there are so many issues that need to be fixed, in rotw people just bought it because jedi can grind there without having to worry about being tracked, and mustafar, they drop loot related to jedi, so the jedi buy the expansion fallowed by the bh's

i dont have the expansion for mustafar and it sucks to be a bh because every single jedi is always on mustafar these days. Its very annoying and ive saved up for 512 more ram so the game is more enjoyable and less laggy now i gottagive another 35 for the expansion just so i can hunt jedi. Personally i think we are alrdy paying enough 15 a month and we should get the expansion free.

ROTW and ToOW came out at the behest of Lucasarts, not SOE in order to conicide with the theatrical and DVD release of Revenge of the Sith.
Also, I would say that Jedi players -tend to- come from the more dedicated portion of the playerbase i.e. the partof the playerbase that purchases expansions and pre-orders them*, regardless of any special status or loot drop. I play a Jedi and I play on Kashyyyk and Mustafar because I like the quests; not because I'm hiding from BH or camping a spawn for a cloak. Really, I know it's hard to accept, but everything Jedi players do isn't about you or your seeker droids.
*this is not to say that only Jedi players are dedicated or that all Jedi players are dedicated, Jedi players just tend to be dedicated.

If anything I'd say it was the other way around.
I see so many Rebel Jedi on the terminals nowadays, and most Jedi I know are constantly PvP'ing outside of starports, I'd wager the majority (and by that I mean 90%+ easily) bought/pre-ordered ToOW for "teh phat loot". In my time playing I have only personally seen one Jedi who was totally roleplaying it - didn't have a sabre in his hand in public, wasn't walking around putting Force Infusion on random people just to show off, etc.
Anyway, right now Mustafar is a haven for a loot kings - they're all there. I haven't bothered buying the expansion yet because I didn't want to have to fight with the other 38,149,100 people waiting for static spawns, or deal with the lag, etc.
That said, it would be nice - since I don't have the expansion - if Jedi who were on Mustafar and other places I couldn't reach were not shown on the terminals to me.

You should take a look at those expansions yourself. If you read the forum filled whith whines you get a totally wrong idea of it.
Both expansions are a nice addition. Lots of quests, nice items. Worth to spend time there.
Anyway, if you dont, you will stay on tatooine forever....
(BTW i did all the quests on Kashyykk, no jedi bought RotW just to grind there. Thats just ridiculous)

not I, never been to mustafar and only been to kashyyyk enough to get my bolotaur.
