Bounty Hunter Archive

Just wanted to throw a quick pulse check out for this. It's my understanding that a FS character (whenever they appear) will earn a TEF if observed utilizing a force power. As an Imperial Bounty Hunter it is my responsibility to enforce the Emperor's will and dispatch these traitors. Somecould see this as griefing (since the whole permadeath thing is out there) and I wanted to get the opinion of my peers. I'm not talking about camping players, I'm talking about hunting them down and eliminating them.

Thoughts?

I would assume most bounty hunters will have their eyes out for Jedis. From a pure role playing view I would assume that the Empire would have hefty bounties on all Jedis. I for one would like to collect.

Yea, but I'm pretty sure even a Jedi Padiwan will kick the crap out of a master BH..

Got to remember, their just marks. They may be tough but I'll let Lucy (my LLC) light up those robe wearing sissies and we'll see how well they burn.

Yeah I'm talking player characters. Once I have a bead on them they become marks, as they no longer have rights. I'm thinking, in everything that I've read, that the FS characters will be just like any other new character just with an additional skill tree (Jedi). I'm sure once they have filled some boxes that they will put up a hell of a fight, but if you catch them early...they'll burn just like the rest

The fact that they Earn a TEF Means they are fair game.

It couldn't be concidered griefing, because that is how the game is designed.

Happy Hunting, because if you miss, they could come back after you and nail you when they have a few more points in the kit

I dont think just a padawan could handle a master bh...remember in the movie, obi wan was a jedi knight, and jango gave him a run for his money (granted jango and bobba are the best) but even still....just a thought

That's cause he had a rocket pack.. We don't =P

not ONLY did he have a jet pack.. he had.. oh i dunno dual pistols, a flame thrower on his wrist, a missle launcher, a son in a space ship using really really big guns at the same time, and the rain to his advantage

lol naw but Duke's right. chances are slim to none that you actually will find one, and when you do, good luck. this jedi you find won't just be force sensitive, he'll hafta have already obtained the padawan status. this is because i'm sure you'll hafta be a jedi to use the force which gives you the TEF In the first place. it'll be a tough fight. i sure hope that jedi is on 56k and using a comp with 128 mb of ram.

Yea but remember Jango's death in the Jedi invasion on Geonosis? Jango had his head sliced off by Windu with absolutely no trouble... granted Mace was a Jedi Master but still, I don't know if either of the two would own... but i think a complete padawan could murder a BH.
