Thread: So Where is the Quid Pro Quo Now in BH/Jedi?

Just curious what you all think. At least when the FRS was in place, Jedi could get FRS xp for killing BH. Now of course Jedi get nothing for the effort except to continue whatever they are doing until the next BH comes.
Something should be changed. Should Jedi get the bounty reward for killing BH? Should they get a one week freeze on any BH getting them? Something should be a reward for killing BH......

Im a BH myself but i agree...Strangely?
They need rewards. But not too good since they kill most of us BHs anyway.

I truly agree. If jedi had something that worths the risk of dying and losing xp there wouldn't be so much NERF CLOAK! NERF STATIS! NERF FORCE RUN! etc posts...

Well...when it comes to getting the BH´s reward it just seems silly. Just look at it from a roleplaying perspective:
Person A wants Person B (Jedi) dead for one reason or another.
Person A tells Person C (BH), that he will pay xxx credits to see person B (Jedi) dead.
Person C (BH) is killed by person B (Jedi) while trying to accomplish his mission.
Now, why would Person A, (Who wants the Jedi dead) pay the Jedi for surviving his attempt to get the Jedi killed?
As for a reward along the lines of getting of the terms for winning....dont you have that already? It´s just your own fault if you go right back out and get vis again after just defeating the BH who had your mission.

I am so impressed lately with the BH board. It's extremely constructive here, and I mean that sincerely.
Kind of at a loss myself to come up with a reward concept. But clearly the Jedi should get something for their efforts.
I understand the whole problem with giving Jedi the BH bounty. I am not out to take anything away from BH either.
Perhaps the underlying problem is the penalty xp system. Were that to go away, it really would provide the balance.
Wait hehe . . . .I have it. The Jedi SHOULD GET THE EQUIVALENT AMOUNT OF THE BH BOUNTY IN POSITIVE JEDI XP!
Anyone else like this idea?

How could it be exploited? I mean if you had an alt that was a BH on the same account you coulnd't do that. Now on the same idea, if they had an alt on a different account left their jedi on and attempted to waste an hour of their life finding the mission (which btw would take that long in a grinding group to get the xp if not more). I think this would be hard if not impossible to exploit. Yes some would try but for the majority I think it would be just the thing needed.

It couldn't be exploited, only abused. Imagine, all BHs would say I'll let you kill me for 500k. Why? Cos they have nothing to lose, and you could gain something.

Jedi know what the penalty for becoming one of their kind is, and that is that they will be hunted by Bounty Hunters. They are designed to be uber-classes, and to give them MORE of an incentive to go down their path is just insane. I'm really not trying to flame or be flamed, but that's just my honest opinion.
