with the MCM template you need to work their force and mind - make them heal.

1. Inventory

First off get some 7k+ energy resist armour and get it armour break sliced to 75% AB reduction. This means that the power of your target's armour break is reduced by 75%, meaning their damage is a lot less than it would be.

then get some deuterium toss enhancers with 1100+ effectiveness (fire) and some neurotoxin enhancers with 1100+ effectiveness (poison) these can be found from any good bio-engineer, try vendor search to find them:

I have a nym's slugthrower with 350 base dps, kinetic damage with 170 elemental. 350-700 and 2 second speed. A critical hit will hit for about 600 damage on a defender, normally 450 or so.


2. Food and Drink

I use:
breath of heaven - +505 health, +200 HR/AR, +50 Mind regen

Crispic - Go for duration and 40 ranged accuracy (and cheapness)

Booster Blue

Air Cake
Spiced Tea - +200 Mind for almost an hour

Exo-Protein Wafers. +25% damage mitigation, 5 fill, 15-20 second duration. Take these when they're close, you can take about 15 before you're full.

Parawan Nutricake - This is a food that you want "reuse time" to be 100% or more. It gives the instant affect of burst run, and means that burst run can be sustained until your stomach is full, then regular burst run can be used. This is useful to catch up with the runners.


3. Attack Procedure

Use /sit [This regens your mind so you don't start low] (thx to tardwangler) then paralyze, then thyroid rupture, traumatize, knockdown, fire and poison (if you use a med bot these can tick for 350 each)

Most jedi use an infusion macro, meaning they drain 10% mind every 40 seconds and regen 2-3 every minute, due to traumatize.

5. Side notes

If you can get your med bot to shoot aswell even better, that's an extra 200-400 tick every 10 seconds meaning more healing. It takes about 3-5 minutes to drain their mind and then they're on the defence so i smack on an electolyte drain and go all out with damaging attacks. They usually manage to sustain their low mind for about 2-4 minutes.

I go in with a paralyze, then thyroid rupture, traumatize, knockdown, fire and poison (if you use a med bot these can tick for 350 each)

at this point most jedi starting getting nervous and you are on a half way to victory...


but if you get an MDef, he will /yawn and wait till your buffs run out and kick you then... and in the worst case scenario: you will have a Mdef, Healer 44xx and he will clean the fire dot (which do the most damage over time) and you you will start to loos, due to mindproblems, when you try to reput it on him...


i would use paralyze, when your mark is on 1/3 on health.. maybe you have a good weapon, which can kick him with 1-2 fast shots

I've found that my dots do the job vs Mdefender, and if they have 4400 healer (something i've never seen) they're wasting force and mind to heal the fire, so in the end their mind and force will still drop.

well then, if this is the case for the Mdef, how are you really supposed to beat them without it lasting a literal 3 hours?

well the longest mdefender fight i had went on 20 mins, and he went through 2 full bars of force.

If you can get really close to your target I recommend the following attack order when you initiate the attack...


/sit, Paralyse, Electrolyte Drain, Thyroid Rupture, Paralyse, Traumatize, Hemorrage, Paralyse, Shock, get up move out 30m Fire and Poison.

you have no clue about the force cost of that (it is only 50 and less mind)....

a master defender with no force run, is just like a sitting duck , you hit them with electrolyte, dot's and kite away at your hearts pleasure, and once in a while pop some pyro

No, dont do this. Its obviously an exploit. At any rate if time your knockdowns/snares/roots you will regen mind faster then you lose it so it's not needed.

they dont have to follow me , i can just sit and shoot them from 50m , but if they dont make the effort to try and close the gap theyre going to die simple as that
