Here are some rules common to all types of buffs that remove you from sight (including Force Cloak):


1. Taking any offensive action reveals you instantly (currently the only exception is the Rifleman's ability Conceal Shot).

2. Interacting with some objects in the world instantly reveals you (could be switches, terminals, containers, etc)

3. Some commands cannot be executed and require you to reveal yourself before executing the command

4. All of these buffs can be "toggled off" at any time you wish to become view-able by others

5. Some non-combat actions can also reveal you (like healing for instance)

6. You are afflicted with a movement snare when you are stealthy (rooted when just camouflaged)




Are these changes enough for you guys to make you quit asking for further nerfs?

Er im pretty sure everyone is fine with cloak, but most people I think, think its unfair for jedi to get 20m out and be not attackable anymore.


Only thing that bothers me about that skill is stasis.

1) Its 32 meters.


2) Stasis IS EXACTLY like concussion shot and paralyze, skills that normal profs have.


3) The "Devs" can only Nerf instead of creating . . . . which sucks for everyone!

How does stasis bother you? It's not even a skill in thePowers tree. Stasis was already balanced. There is 20sec immunity timer to it being reapplied, and it breaks upon damage. Nothing ot nerf with it.

I do have to say that honestly, with the way they are going. It might eventually get to the point that Jedi have to crawl on the ground while waiting 5 minutes for the warmup timer to finish so they can swing their saber 1 time, and then turn around and wait another 10 minutes for the cooldown timer, meanwhile they've been snared, rooted, and KD'd... But not by the BH, instead by their own specials.



Seriously, a fair compromise is removing the ability to heal/med while cloaked. That's totally understandable. But adding a snare too?

fr1 is slower than burst.


fr2 is BARELY faster than burst.


FR3 is CONSIDERABLY SLOWER than swoops, av-21s, speederbikes . . ect ect ect . . .


Guess you are one of the people who just likes to make 5|-|17 up.

I could under stand why it would make you guys mad for them to cloak and not be attackable, maybe the force cost should be raised a bit. But with as strong as the bh/cm template what else can the normal post cu jedi do, die defenetely isnt the first option, xp may not be super hard to make up but it is difficult. Your not going to be able to kill every jedi you fight against, but calling for them to be nerfed even further bad. Jedi may seem uber, but step back and look at the new jedi, put your self in their shoe's, all this time with the fs grind, and the only real reward now is how cool it looks, other wise your just bh food. Or imagine using a heal that is not as good as a cm's heal, but this heal takes even more mind, and it also takes force. At this point all i do is play my alt, my jedi is not near as strong as a pre cu jedi, and would die against 80% of the bh's out there. Lets quit the nerfing. (Sure there arnt supposed to be jedi during this time, but there also wouldnt be rebel bh's(cuz these bounties are being issued by the empire) and there wouldnt be imp jedi.

Oh and also -



  • You have to be out of combat to call a vehicle.

  • Your vehicle can be easily blown up.

  • You have to either waste a space to put it on your tool bar, or take the time to press Ctrl-D AFTER your out of combat.


FR3 = Press the button.


And by the time you get out of combat, the jedi will be pretty far away from you. At least 200 - 300 M.

I never had a problem with cloak. Actually prefered hunting the cloaked ones. But yesterday I had a cloaker and I waited for him at the startport hopeing he would be dumb enought to head that direction. Sure enought here he comes after quit the wait.

Tracking tracking.. Oh what the hell he ran around me, bought a ticket traveled to a starport 10k m away then traveled back ran around me some more then got in his ship and launched into space. All while cloaked. Now if they just made it so you can't use terminals and such while cloaked then id be happy. Actually If im correct then all they need is to fix the exploit.

Cloak is annoying when someone keeps de-cloaking atatcking u begins too lose so runs away and cloaks, and
its rather stupid that u can root them and then as u run towards em they cloak. Not fun looking at a root
animation rooting nothing.

Stasis or startle shot are great at stopping em re-cloaking. gving u time to call in support so u can gank em
good

But I think cloakers have only brought it on themselves, the problems with cloakers causing agro at DWB and non-
cloakers suffering for it should be sorted. And Mace Windu didnt run around cloaked he walked slowly.

It should be used to gain an advantage offensivly, its a great skill for recon and just avoiding attention.

MBH Attacks jedi, jedi hits force run, puts MBH in stasis, runs off. Now while it is a damn good tactic it kind of stinks and to me it seems a bit out of wack, I've been after the same mark for a while now and every time I start hitting him he force runs and puts me in stasis, and even with parwan and the snare I have there is nothing I can do to keep him from catching me. And the only defense I can think of aganst such a trick is to have someone along with me to shoot at me when he does this to me, which I'm sure would be an exploit.
