Yup, I'm fully expecting Jedi to deal a lot more damage post Pub 19.
However, what I want to know is whether the Jedi Heals are as effective/fast when in combat.
As long as you stay out of reach, I can't see a major problem.
Little kid? You have seriously be careful to who you call a kid. It is blatently obvious based upon your statement you may have a small undertone of uncertainty. I typically lower my communication efforts on these forums so many of the "kids" will understand. If you choose to call an individual a "little kid" that is your choice, however I really think that is reasonably a biased opinion based upon an uneducated life you have chosen.
Yes you are correct that you too may have weapons with elemental damage in them. Moreover, it is nice to see us getting back up to the point where we should be doing damage.

From what I have heard, they are TONS stronger and out pwning everyone know....there are some on kettemoor run'n aournd /shouting "Congrats, you got what you asked for, we will rule the galaxy"
I can't wait to get home from work...this is coming from a friend with the day off.
